The only wish I have would be a longer battery life for international travel. Otherwise this does everything I want.

Surprising multiuse computer/tablet combination is powerful with addition of better antivirus proĝram. recommend taking time to learn about the basic operation as it differs from a computer. Brilliant color screen has a high resolution. Easy to transport. Recommend getting ZAGG Invisible Screen for protection from scratches.

I love the surface tablet. I take it everywhere even though it is primarily for work. I love the way the tablet feels; the integration of the keyboard/touch option, the display.. I LOVE being able to take hand-written notes with the stylus! It is super-handy to use during meetings and presentations.

Excellent device that combines the power of a laptop in something the size of tablet. Definitely meets my needs.

Once you upgrade to 8.1 the benefits of Win8 become obvious. Device is fast and is basically like having a i5 pc in with you at all times. Games? Load steam, plug in 360 controller, play. Work, Office365 if your friend with a type keyboard. Hate MS? Load Chrome/Bluestacks and enjoy both worlds.

excellent size with good memory but a little heavy

My surface works well for most tasks. However watching movies is a real disappointment. During playback of dark scenes in movies, a green background haze shows in the display. I've read many forums for help and none have a fix. Just seems like a cheap screen was integrated with the device. As a note: Streaming movies from the surface to a 1080p tv works and looks great.

It works like a laptop, but is also a tablet, its is not watered down in any way can run any program and app like a desktop or laptop, also extremely portable, I have been waiting for something like my whole life, can't believe it took them this long to come up with something like this. Battery life is great.

This UltraTab can't be compared to any other tablet on the market; tablet are toys this is a productive tool... take that iPAD! This falls closer to the category of an ultrabook with features and a price that move it to the front of the pack.

Good product. Not as fluid as the IPAD (Windows 8) but the multiple tasking and pen entry are great. Wish there were screen protectors, cases etc. The battery life is only 66% of advertised and that is with the screen brightness level at 33%. The pen holder does not do a good enough job. Sound very weak at top level.

The Microsoft Surface Pro is a excellent device that creates no need for my ipad or PC. Its a all in one portable device. I highly recomend this for home, student, and business use.

I like the flexibility of having both a computer and a tablet. I was able to get rid of my desktop computer, with the addition of an external dvd/cd recorder/player and a hub that enables me to connect external devices such as keyboards, monitor and external storage. The apps for windows are weak but developing.

Great device for travel. Def not a replacement for a tablet but a great laptop replacement. Especially for work.

OVERALL NICE PRODUCT, PRICE IS HIGH, THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE SEPARATE PEN HOLDER INSTEAD OF POWER PLUG AS A HOLDER FOR THE PEN. SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED OFFICE WITH THE TABLET.

I am the proud owner of several tablets including a Nook HD+, Nexus 7, and 2nd generation ipad. This is by far the most useful tablet I have come across...it literally is a full desktop computer and unlike items such as the Venue Pro 8 it has blazing processor and nice sized harddrive.

I got the this tablet due to the requirements of my work software. it has all I need. power and support for all my apps. too bad the prices for the keyboards are so high and bluetooth ones are a burden to carry with and they eat up the battery faster. other than that great product !

I love this tablet! I decided between an iPad and the Surface and am very happy with my decision. I love that I can use Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and that I can save documents to a usb drive.

For what's on the market today, this is the best you'll find. Technology is just starting to delve into the PC/Tablet market, and though I am primarily an Apple fan, this is the only tablet PC that suits all of my needs, and I would definitely recommend it. In a year it may be obsolete since it is one of the first of its kind, but for right now it's perfect. I also like that I can play real games on it that aren't just found in an app store.

This is just what I needed a two in one device. A PC with a tablet concept. Purchasing this tablet saved me money because I didn't have to purchase a PC for work and school; nor a regular tablet or iPad for personal use and compact convienence.
