I love this tablet better than my iPad. I can use all MS Office apps. One note is great tool with the stylus it makes easy in taking meeting notes.

    My new best friend

I run programs like Blender which is an animation software and I needed something that gave me touch capabilities and portability to take anywhere as I am a mother of 4 who has to take the kids all around town everyday. I also use photoshop, and other programs that require graphics and memory most other tablet convertibles can't give for the low price I got this for while on sale. I know the surface 2 and other newer models have these abilities as well but I can't afford those. For the price all the things it works for is great. Only thing I wish was better is the speakers. I watch Netflix on it a lot while cooking and I always have to plug into external speakers to hear it over water running or cooking noises. The soft touch keybooard was okay, but I have Multiple Sclerosis and have no feeling in my hands and could not tell if I had pushed the key sufficiently so I got a type touch keyboard which is great and feels sleek (as much as Ican tell).

As far as tablets go, this is pricey but worth it. I have had no problems with this tablet in the first couple of months. Everything loaded and ran as it should without issue.

Surface Pro Tablet is a great tablet, as advertised. Works well with Windows 8. Learning curve of course but happy with the Surface Pro 128gb.

A good Windows 8 Professional tablet with most standard hardware capabilities. However it only has one USB port and no optical drive. Pick up a powered USB hub for using optical drives during installation of software. Powerful tablet with an operating system which is compatible with most systems used today.

Dad's happy, we have twin computers now

After mom tells dad to be opening-minded, dad asks me to show him what these tablets are. He didn't think they can do any work, in any way he can use, or is used to. Well I started with a Nexus 7, which he thought was much better, at least in price than the iPads. Note: He didn't like Apple or games, take it or leave it. The Dell Venue Pro surprised him that it ran the familiar Windows desktop, but thought it was too small. Considering he likes his Note 2, it's not surprising that an 8" tablet isn't that interesting of device to him. But he kept eyeing my MS Surface Pro. He liked it. We bought it. It boots up in seconds, not minutes, "Wow-wee!" It was familiar, more powerful than any computer he ever had before. He can install his label printer for work; yet use it for surfing on the couch. He liked how tough it was built. "Reliable!" The touch interface seemed fit for his man-sized hands. He's a happy customer. He feels very spoiled.

The screen resolution and speed is outsanding for a device this small, maybe tends to get a little bit hotter but it's expected in a processor of this speed (Core i5), the other thing that could be get better it's the charging time taking more than a couple hours to complete

This is NOT a tablet. Don't compare it to tablets. It's an ultrabook in a tablet format. It is a very powerful machine for the price. I use this as the context requires - to run apps, Adobe CS software, or an MMO game.

My husband uses this tablet for his farming and contracting business. He's able to prepare estimates on-site instead of writing down vital information, then constructing an estimate from memory and notes. This is the only tablet that allows him to take his business accounting with him to the job-site. No more little pieces of paper with notes and measurements scribbled on them. He plans to using the GPS features to plat out field tiling next fall. He loves having everything at his fingertips. This was a GREAT purchase!

This is a powerful little machine. It is super fast and has great storage (128gb). Comes with Windows Pro 8.0, but is an easy and free upgrade to 8.1 Pro. I am very happy with it and got it for a great price!

I love the Surface Pro a lot. It is very easy to use and learn the new interface. I prefer the new features better and would really like the original desktop to be gone but I can manage and just get used to it.

This trumps the iPad in every way. You get the functions and features of a full size PC, yet it only takes the space of a tablet. Best on the market, by light years!

I bought the Microsoft Surface Pro mostly to take when I travel. It is very easy to use and has lots of features that make it versatile. It doesn't take long to get used to not having a regular keyboard, which was my main concern. I am able to keep it handy and check emails frequently.

This is a great product for a mobile sale force that needs the ability to access true laptop features on a truly portable device. We use printers, and invoice the customer on site. This device works great for what we are doing.

I bought 3 of these things. One for me and 2 others for my 2 teenaged children. We all love this device. It is expensive not only for the machine but also for the mouse and key pad. Despite the cost it is a very nice product.
