I like the surface because you can take it with you anywhere and its small and its a whole entire computer I don't like is that it has windows 8 on it it is not user friendly and they need to change the windows to a different one because Windows 8 is not that good

I love the Surface Pro. If I want to play games I just download apps, if I need to do work for the Office I just go to the desktop and work on my software that I use at the office. It is a little different from Windows 7 but there are plenty of websites and youtube video's to help with the learning curve. Plus it has built in virus software. It is also no more expensive than a laptop. Cheaper than the ones I buy for the office.

I love my Microsoft Surface. I purchased it about a month ago to replace my laptop. I did a lot of tablet comparison and decided to get a Surface. I originally went to Staples and they only had it available online. I called the closest Best Buy, and they had one left in stock! It was a great value for the price ($400 off the retail price.)It has lots of memory, great resolution, and very smooth transitions. I gave it 4 stars for features because it does not have bluetooth.

Overall, a great buy. Too bad it did not come with a USB charger. The item is heavier than expected, though this did not hinder my buying decision.

I travel quite a bit, so I wanted a PC that was small enough to travel well and powerful enough to be the only machine I need on travel. I compared the Surface Pro to the Surface Pro 2 and saw near identical specs, so I went with the lower priced Surface Pro 128GB. So far, absolutely no regrets. As a dry run I shut down my home laptop and put the Surface to the test as the sole machine. I have a Toshiba Dynadock u3.0 docking station, so I plugged it into the one USB 3.0 port...downloaded the updated drivers for the dock, and my external monitor came to life, along with my external 2TB hard drive and my canon printer. The Surface Pro easily handles mundane tasks like web browsing, videos, and some gaming with ease. If you hook up an external keyboard/mouse and monitor you won't notice it's a tablet, it just doesn't act like one. The surface arc mouse is a must have add on, as is the touch 2 keyboard. There in lies a huge weakness of the Surface Pro...it doesn't come with those accessories, if it did, it would be absolutely perfect. The next "weakness" that many are quick to point out is the kickstand and it's awkwardness on a lap, If you buy a "procase" or "manvex" case that allow the Surface to sit at any angle...that weakness goes away. Battery life sits at about 4-5 hours of use, so not as good as an Ipad or an Android tablet, but show me an android tablet or an ipad that can run actual software and not an "app". The newer Surface Pro 2 bumps up that battery life, and there's a battery/keyboard cover that adds life to both the Pro & Pro 2. I personally own a Samsung Note 8...I love the Note 8, but it just can't compete. The Surface Pro fits easily in any carryon, and although there are reviews out there that say it's heavy, it's FAR lighter than the laptop it replaced. I also own a Macbook Pro 13 inch,and the Surface is more portable and has better battery life. The Surface can work as a laptop, a tablet, and a desktop replacement not taking up alot of room in a laptop bag. If you can spend the money...I'd recommend the Surface Pro 128, couple the 128GB storage with a microsd card (I'm using a 64GB) leaves you with enough storage for most tasks.

I had bought this tablet because you have the functionality of a laptop but the portability of a tablet. I have a case for the tablet and keyboard and take it everywhere I go, has helped enhance my business and show customers results ASAP.

Got this In the Jan sale and the price went down another $100. I will drive in today and get the price match as I still am in the 45 day window. As to functionality, I bought the key board and a BT mouse and install office 2014. Bought a 64GB SD and all is up and running smooth. Very nice product.

Very useful for doing work on the go. Only wish that they could have built the bulky transformer on the charger cord into the unit itself, or extended the battery life to last a full day.

overall I love this device, it's compact and able to fit into a small back pack. I especially love when you want it off it's off! or start it's on! Once you have a wifi connection, it's fast and reliable.

Easy to use. Like to use everywhere. I waited a long time to replace my computer. I like being able to use excel and word and surf the web. I enjoy playing games.

Very nice! I had to get two. This devce is awesome and I strongly recommend that everyone take a hard look at this prior to purchasing and IPAD.

Better than expected. love it! I use it when traveling. Great to watch movies when on the go. The screen is so clear. Great for work on the road. Installed office and it very nice.

All in all great product. Gets the job done quick boot times perfect if you need to pay a quick bill and don't want to have to wait for your laptop to power up and login. Its user friendly easy to use wont jabr any problems opening the box and setting up.

Like having my desktop with me all the time. Wish the battery life was longer. Stopped using my IPAD the day after I purchased it.

I have the iPad and by far Surface is a more complete solution. Everything is easy to use and awesome performance.

I am very pleased with my Surface Pro. Our sales guy talked me into the pro version instead of RT version after realizing the way I wanted to use it. I am so happy with my decision. It is small and convenient like a tablet, but runs like a normal laptop.

Not that great with computers but this was much easier to learn than I thought it would. Glad I moved up from a desk top to this style of a laptop. I love the touch screen ability.

Love the computer. You can use apps or desk top. Also, with the apple tablet you have to buy their products. this computer has a USB connection that you can download any programs.

I am so glad I replaced my iPad with this. It is great, easy to use, and I love the features and the keyboard!!
