It is light and easy I travel with. I like being able to write papers on it. It has great apps to choose from. Wish it had more.

Works like my Windows laptop PC. I plan to take it on business trips instead of my laptop. It is a tablet and a PC and can be used for both. You do not have to carry a laptop and a tablet anymore. To use as a business machine, you will need either the Microsoft Touch keyboard or a Bluetooth keyboard. Also recommend an external mouse; the touchpad on the Microsoft touch keyboard does not work well for me. It also needs a holder for the pen, like the Galaxy Tab. I fear my pen will be easily misplaced.

The unit is a great portable option for developers. I can use it as a tablet, laptop and desktop. This allows me to take work on the run and meet clients at Starbucks.

I was very hesitant about getting a tablet or an ultra book. I had a hard time deciding between all the different options. Once the 128GB surface pro was available I played with it in the store for a while and fell in love. My wife has a TF700 (android) tablet, but I realized I need the windows support for some apps that I run. I used the surface pro on a road trip and to log data during a 200mile relay run. It was fantastic. The pen handwriting input is superb and I am not aware of any other tablet/ultrabook that can compete. I have no regrets about the buy.

As a business owner and quasi-techie, I've moved totally to MS products, since they seem to be addressing the full spectrum of business and home use. Perhaps not the best in all areas, but who is? I wanted simplification of vendors and MS is bringing that home for those looking for that cabalitiy. No more remembering what kind of laptop I use, what kind of phone I use, what kind of streaming device I use. Call me a foolhearted loyalist, but I call it simplification.

Great product, nice replacement for a laptop because of size. Easy to carry around the house and have access anywhere with having a heavy laptop sitting on our lap.

Was looking for a tablet that had more capability than an Ipad (which I also have). Really like the usb port and tablet funcitions. Overall would give it an 8.5/10.

Love the fact that this is a "real" computer and not just a tablet. I have fully functioning Office and other applications. The touchscreen, however, is a little funky - sometimes it does not play nicely with all programs. The keyboard cover requires more force than it should for typing. The stylus sharing a spot with the charging port is a very bad idea. In fact, the pen was lost within two weeks of purchase. No, I did not replace it. I will live with the touchscreen and the mouse pad and a $3 capacitive pen I already owned. A new one would be lost just as easily and they are far too expensive.

Microsoft tablet that can use windows 8.1 with expandable memory and usb ports and Bluetooth. It has the ability to be used as a computer as well as just a tablet.

Good little windows tablet that I can take on the go. Still getting used to it. Battery does deplete fairly quickly compared to my iPad. The home button on button has stopped working but can access from side.

I bought this to replace my Ultra book. It is really slick and the response is very good due to processor and SSD. The screen is very crisp and bright. I would get this plus Type2 cover as it is convenient.

This is a great camera for us to take along on a trip where I am flying. It fits easily into carry on. Takes good pics on the trip. It would be nice to have a much better telescopic device.

heats up quickly if not given plenty of air space, and even heats up when given plenty of space full computer and tablet features, apps are very convenient does everything I need for school and entertainment

I purchased the surface to replace my old work laptop. Got it on a great sale. I am more than pleased with it. I use it all the time not just for work.

It's light and portable but it won't hold everything. If you want everything from your computer on this tablet you probably won't be able to get it all on here. However there are other options for that.

Purchased 2 Microsoft surface pro 128 gb for 499.00 each. Great price for product. Very easy for them to use and portability is just what we wanted. Would highly recommend to others.

This device is pretty heavy for tablet which is supposed to be light for mobility, but what really makes it is the full functioning windows with all the capability, not something. You expect from a tablet.

This tablet functions well and has a very clear screeen. When used with Office 365 and Skydrive, all office files are always in sync across all devices. Paired with a windows phone, productivity and mobility are enhanced.
