Great tablet especially for students or business oriented people. Love that I can use Microsoft office. Not very good for children as there aren't very many popular games available to play.

Very Happy with the surface pro so far. Have not found anything I would do on my laptop that I can't do on the surface. The only drawback I have found is in the Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for the surface pro, wish it had a tracking wheel.

Great machine, love the touch screen and pen. Battery life is excellent. Runs all programs great with no glitch.

I bought this tablet as a birthday present for my wife. Prior to this she used an iPad 2, and I was concerned how she would transition to a Windows-based tablet running windows 8, but she loves it. I showed her the basics and she's taken it from there. It's a little pricey, but a good solid tablet.

Wife wants one now! Wants to trade in her IPAD. Already using Windows 8 so no learning curve at all. Just needs a charger for the car in case I run the battery down or forget to charge it.

Nice unit, fast, versatile, but lacks a few ergonomic features. Touch screen needs to be more accurate. Otherwise I would love to mount on in my car for a variety of uses.

Don't need my laptop for everything now. Files are all accessible from the cloud.

Awesome tablet it is a computer and much more. This Tablet is very responsive and the battery life is fair. I would recommend over ipad and galaxy tablets all day long.

I truly love my surface! I use it for personal and business use. This is the best item I have purchased and utilized for everything in my busy life.

Overall a very positive choice. Light weight and Windows 8 Pro version runs great on network. The only real issues for me have been around the connection issues to the network. Better options for using as a desktop at work. Better video connections through an appropriate port replicator.

Ultrabook functionality in tablet form. I was contemplating on buying an ultrabook, and wanted to upgrade my tablet (s)...but Surface Pro came down to right price point and acquired it ! I looked into Surface RT when it was introduced...but lusted for the Surface Pro...now I'm happy.

The Surface Pro 2 has some improvements over the Pro but the great price on the Pro outweighed the price of the Pro 2. It does everything I need it for, mainly CS5 and Quicken and to stream media from my external hd.

I am happy with the ability to create content on a tablet. It works great with all devices and makes me realize how much I dislike apple when you try to use apple products on it.

Responsive touch interface. Smooth operation - similar, but better than a smartphone. No shortage of function. Apps need to catch up with Android and iOS though. Get a knowledgeable Best Buy sales rep to give you a tour.
