Works great as a replacement for my old laptop. Screen is very bright and the device is very fast.

Wonderful for someone who wants a tablet as well as a laptop. It's a little awkward to know what to do with pen when the device is being charged.

Fast to start up, but a little harder to shutdown. Windows will do an update even when I want to do other functions. Love the standard USB port.

The Surface is a good tablet alternative to iPad since it uses a regular version of Windows 8, making it a very portable full computer. USB for input/output is a very big plus. It's a little ridiculous, however, that at this price category the keyboard is an expensive "option". Bought it for my college student son.

Bought for my husband to use and he's not so tech savy and he could easily figure his way around it. So many apps to use and download. The charger is awesome its magnetic so no need to worry the "prongs" will break or like old cell phone not charge correctly. The screen is a great size. I love how simple it is and easy to find what youre looking for. its great to sync your xbox account with it too!!

This product was designed for people on the go and that want things done quick . I recommend this to a lot of college students

I have had just about EVERY tablet out there, including EVERY flavor of iPad. They are a NO CONTEST. This thing is the best tablet out there, and you can install your APPS, including photoshop, quickbooks, office, and others on it, and they all work! So annoying to not be able to use, until now, my regular apps with any tablet. This...is a homerun for Microsoft. No wonder their stock went up $10!

For the price I could have gotten a regular lap top but I wanted a smaller but just as powerful option. The Surface was an excellent choice.

Love our surface! Full power of a laptop in the small size of a tablet. Have used it for photo editing and so much more.

There is a learner curve to getting things customized - delighted with my desktop customization now, but it took a while. Easily using the Office Products for business with fingers and the stylus. I like to use the stylus for somethings. Happy with videos and Skype on the Surface - like the two cameras, although again there was a little learner curve in discovering how to switch (on my 1st Skype call on this machine.

More functionality than iPad. A little pricey. Great for business. Needs more aps. USB port makes this a true computer.

Like it a lot. Has tablet features as well as laptop features. Priced a little high and didn't include MS Office like the Surface Pro.

easy to use and has great graphics.. but the battery life doesnt last long..

I really love the fact that this product can replace my laptop for travel and since it has so many outputs I can carry any data along that I need i the form of an external drive. I would only suggest adding one more USB port for those of us who would much rather use a mouse. That way we can use the mouse and the external drive at the same time

I purchased this tablet because I needed one that had fully functional windows 8. It's not too hard to set up, screen is good, the speaker it is OK.for the money you spend I wish it was a little bit more robust in the processing power and memory. This is great if you need productivity on the road but honestly, the man of money you spend on this if you need a laptop, get a laptop. You'll get more for your money.

I have everything apple, iphone5s, mini iPad, Mac good pro, this is faster and easier to use than my apple products

Microsoft finally got something right. The Surface feels like a solid tablet that I'm not worried about breaking. The Windows 8 UI is quite slick and responsive.

I have had a lot of windows 8 machines and this is the best in terms of reliability and fluid touch. I love active digitizers and use them extensively for the last 10 years on tablet pcs. This is the best experience with a pen in terms of flow and ease of writing with no vectoring or other problems like that.

Great product however, it need to be lighter compared to its competitors.
