Versatile and Fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a tablet to bridge phone and desktop usage and found the Surface Pro 4 to be the solution and much much more. As a tablet it is great. Large screen, crisp display, excellent wi-fi connectivity and fully featured. Coupled with the Surface Pen it is exceptionally versatile. This device also is fully functional as a laptop with enough power and features to function as a business laptop with Windows 10 included and ability to run Microsoft Office Suite applications. I will need to purchase the Surface Pro Dock in order to have the connectivity needed to make this fully functional but that is not a problem. The bundle I purchased had the included keyboard which is very functional as a magnetic add on. I would recommend the Surface Pro (various configurations available based on need) to anyone needing a fully functional laptop that can double as a top of the line tablet. Do remember to get the pen at time of purchase for a $20.00 discount and the ability to write notes inside of your applications which is a great feature and really cool whether for business, school or fun!

Excellent hardware but falls short on software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Surface could be such an excellent device. I love every feature it has. It is a tablet and a laptop and most importantly it can run a full version of Windows. The touch screen is responsive and the pen writes more naturally that any stylus I have used. The size is great and it is so easy to carry around with you. The keyboard is good too. I love the mag charger and keyboard connection that make it so easy to plug in either item. But, considering this device has been around for a couple of years now, I would expect the bugs to have been worked out of the software. The pen randomly loses its button controls, forcing you to disconnect and reconnect it or reboot the machine. The touch screen occasionally freezes up which, if you don't have the keyboard handy, means a hard reboot to bring it back. The onscreen keyboard is quite awful. Really, no predictive typing, no swype - is this not a mobile device, Microsoft? In all, I would say that this is a device that could be outstanding but definitely needs some work still. No lies, I am a mac user and I have said many times that if it ran Mac OS, it might just be perfect!!! But it would also be close to perfect if the software that controls it was just improved a little and the bugs worked out of it.

Great computer, just one downside.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for 599 plus tax the week of Black Friday. I was a bit hesitant given the not so robust m3 processor that is in it, but for such a great price I decided to give it a chance. I've been using it for a solid week so far, and here are my pros and cons of this device. Pros- Screen Quality (Bright, goergous) Touchscreen (Accurate, responsive) Keyboard (Good key travel) Trackpad Portability Speed (M3 is faster than I thought) Fanless Design (Device is silent) Windows 10 Pro Cons- Light leak. (It has a couple different spots on the top of the screen that light leak is present on, mainly viewable on black screens. Not a huge deal, but if it were worse, maybe a problem) Summary: This is a great computer for 599+tax. Only issue I have had so far has been the light leak, which is really only noticable past 50 percent brightness, which I don't usually have it on. If anything changes I will update this review.

So compact and easy to carry around. Great buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is a great size. It is large enough to feel like a traditional laptop and light enough to carry around. Easy to use. Love the touchscreen but the convenience of the keyboard is fantastic. Great product

I love my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my surface pro 4 during the 2016 Pre-Black Friday special. So to start this review, I got this item for $600! What a DEAL! It came with the keyboard (no stylus, but no big deal especially for the price). Some would argue that the memory and the RAM space are on the lower end, but I find that it is sufficient for my needs. I love how compact the surface is. It's not heavy, easy to transport, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on. Also on the computer is a bluetooth option that connects to any soundbar that has bluetooth option. Overall, I find this product to be amazing and I am very happy with my purchase.

Works great for what it was designed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great for what it was designed. The screens beautiful it works fast enough and he gets the job done. It may not be the fastest computer in the world but I don't think it was designed for that, I think it would be great for a college student or for a home homemaker or someone that doesn't really need advanced programs that need a lot of ram. Would buy again

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed something light weight for travel purposes. This unit is great. The entry level processor and SSD combination is plenty quick enough for routine tasks, and the keyboard in this package has an excellent feel. The biggest knock on the Surface Pro is that it is pricey and the keyboard is extra, but the Black Friday special makes this combo a good value.

Good product no doubt.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent for the price, in fact a steal for the price. A little bit slow but not much of a problem. The APPs store has much less APPs than Google play and the Apple store. I wish there is a way around it. Please somebody tell me if there is.... Keyboard is smooth. battery lasts long enough, screen is great....well I have only had it for a couple of days. I hope it remains so.

Improvement from Surface Pro 3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bigger screen, faster, and better keyboard than the Surface Pro 3, the 4 is a great update. Warning: the resolution on the 4 is really high, so certain applications that do not scale up, will look incredibly small, you would have to downsize the resolution for those particular instances.

Surface Pro 4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is an excellent laptop with great portability, beautiful screen and decent speed. There are a couple of things should be improved. 4GB memory is okay with a couple of programs open. MS charges too much for 8GB Ram upgrade (costs a couple of hundred more). The other issue is battery life. It only gets about 3 hours of use in dim light setting..

Outstanding Device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Surface Pro 4 has exceeded all of my expectations. Having had consistently good experience with previous iterations of Microsoft hardware (my original Surface 1 RT still works), I opted to purchase this to replace my Toshiba work laptop which crashed on me. I have been blown away by the quality and performance of this platform. The screen is gorgeous, the type-pad provides extremely satisfying tactile response, and the I love the interactivity with the Surface Pen. This has changed the way I use computers, and I don't think I can go back to a traditional laptop ever again.

Best deal ever!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for $599.99 It was the pre Black Friday bundle sale. Includes the M3 processor which is great and doesn't matter with VM ware installed on machine. This will not slow up performance. It came with the keyboard and also a $20.00 off coupon to purchase the pen. Great product glad I choose this over the expensive MacBook.

Great deal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed new laptop and found tablet too small for entertainment viewing. Had stopped in best buy few weeks before thanksgiving, Microsoft rep. went over pros to Surface 4. Awake at 1am black Friday, found this on sale..$400 off, discount on pen, decided to order both. Very easy setup. Use mostly for web, emails, & TV streaming. Only issue I have found was not being able to download Amazon videos for offline viewing, The included keyboard is very comfortable to use and easy to attach, nice it was included in bundle. Very happy with this purchase

High quality, excellent price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We picked this up before the Black Friday madness for $600. For the price of an iPad we got the tablet, keyboard case, and pencil. It is awesome because you do not feel limited like you do with an iPad. You have an entire computer right there at your fingertips that is extremely portable. You can take notes on it with the pencil, or use the keyboard like its a regular computer. For the price we paid we felt like it was an excellent deal.

Fantastic! Love this little guy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge improvement over the Surface RT. The Surface Pro 4 is much faster and more responsive and less laggy. In comparing the RT, the Pro 4 offers more desktop features and it functions more like a true laptop. Although it runs an M3 chipset, I still think it runs very well, if not similar to the i3 chipset. The bonus Alcantra keyboard is a huge plus. Definitely love the look and feel of this keyboard over the other surface keyboards. Bottom line, I'm very happy and I would highly recommend.

Great choice for a tablet/laptop hybrid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used this MS surface tablet for about a month now. Compared to a regular laptop, this is considerably more portable - which greatly increases it usability. The touchscreen is extremely responsive and does not get dirty easily. The device is blazing fast for almost all my needs - which include browsing, creating documents, basic programming, and the occasional browser-based video game. I would recommend purchasing the add-on keyboard cover. Overall, a great purchase!

Solidly built, attractive tablet with some flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Surface Pro 4 tablet has a solid, well built feel but, it also feels heavy. It has a nice, sharp looking display which could be a little more sensitive to touch. Performance with the m3 processor, though acceptable, is marred by occasional lagging in response. The rear camera is very good, videos look sharp and clear even in relatively low light conditions. The design of the support is simple and straightforward but offers limited choices and makes the lap use somewhat uncomfortable. The included, backlit keyboard is light and works well and the way it snaps firmly in place, through magnetic attachment to the tablet, is impressive.
