I ended up returning my new Surface. I loved the portability--lightweight and compact. However, I found that the performance was lacking. I should have examined the specs more closely. I did not need the laptop for gaming, only for MS Office, music, watching movies, web browsing, etc. It couldn't keep up. I Imagine that the faster processor was needed, but it's a lot more money and other laptops give more bang for the buck. I ended up with a Lenovo Yoga 710. Thank you Best Buy for making a return/exchange so easy.

I stood in line for this for the black friday sale, however from the beginning I could tell that although a beautiful design it had some hardware flaws. There is bleeding on the screen at the bottom, more noticeable when it is turned on and the black surface screen comes on. Under 15 percent brightness the screen flickered which seemed to be a problem with other systems. So I return this great deal due to my disappointment in the product and decided to not get a new one shipped. I would buy again when the quality control is improved , meanwhile I'll stick with my two year old laptop.

Much heavier than the surface pro. I also had network card issues. I love the detachable keyboard, it's much nicer than the pros. Just depends on what needs your looking for

I love the surface concept and tablet computers... not a fan of the M3 version that couldn't even keep up with simple typing with light use. I've returned this product for the i5 version: problem solved.

Bought for my boyfriend for Xmas, the only downside is that it does NOT come with a stylus. You'd think that for the amount they could throw in the pen, but if you upgrade to a higher level you get a free one. Seems inconsistent and silly!

Great tablet. The only down side is that it over heats like crazy. I returned the first one I got thinking maybe I got a defective model but the new one also heats up. :( hopefully they fix that issue for the next model.

I love the concept of the device and for what it is intended to be, it comes really close to perfection. However, random freezing and lag plague the device and ruins the experience. It's nice when it works...

The Surface is probably a good buy for a non Apple user. I found it to be too time consuming to learn. I took mine back and purchased an IPad Pro.
