We own 3 microsoft surface pros and we have all been able to combine our tablet, desktop and laptop into one great product. I can do everything on here that I need to and it is lightweight and quite portable. This is great for work, pleasure, pictures, reading...everything you would do on any of your other devices.

I had researched 2 in 1's for a few months before deciding on the Pro 4. For one the look and fell of it is supreme to anything currently on the market. Couldn't pass up the offer, retailed for $899, got the type cover in a bundle! The Alcantera type cover in my opinion is the best one you can get hands down.

I love the compact size, performance and flexibility - the only disappointment is it is not as fast a processor as I am use to - but, I use this primarily for light work and fun and another computer for my work. For the money, it is a great buy. Versatile powerful and a lot of fun to work and play on.

Awesome product, I was really surprised to see how fast it was. Did exactly what I needed it to do with no major hang-ups . Do wish there was more ram on it (But thats just me being greedy lol, because the device hasn't dropped the ball at all). Great product, especially if you picked it up on sale!

I got this on black friday deal price 599 and i couldnt be more happier. its all in one device and i am very satisfied. I am a graduate student and i mostly use it fro reading papers and portability. I agree m3 is a bit slow but i dont need any heavy processing for this devise so i am ok with it :).

Compact, modern, sexy. Keyboard is lighted - so important. Magnetic attaching keyboard and power cord are brilliant touches. Has a USB port. Functions wonderfully as a tablet or a laptop. This is the fully functional space-saving laptop replacement I was looking for when I bought my first iPad 6 years ago. Have not used the pens/styluses yet, but they included 5 different tips for your individualized design desires.

Very impressed with how far the Surface has come. This was for my college student daughter who was not interested in a typical laptop (or Dell, my fall back). Found a special package deal at Best Buy that included the keyboard. She loves the portability and lack of heavy OS and other applications.

Chose this computer because how thin and light weight it was . I just use it for school and it's perfect. Literally only complaint is uncomfortable when using while using in bed because I need the screen straight and it falls if not leaning back on the stand. Not a big deal .definately recommend

Bought this product and although I returned it, it had nothing to do with the product itself. I found that its function was excellent but did not give me more than my HP 2 in in Laptop. I thought it would be nice to have a Lighter device, but it did not out my IPAD. If I had not had a larger 2 in1 versatile laptop, I would have kept it for sure. Main issue was the storage. My Laptop had 1T with 16 mb Ram.

Does want it need to. Screen turns off to save battery every couple of minutes. The battery life does not last the estimated 9hrs, but closer to 3hrs. And yes, I did perform the updates on the surface pro 4. Love how light weight this thing is. Got in November and it went on a pre-sale for black Friday. Went back to get price adjustment and purchased a pen and another surface pro 4 for my brother in law.

I was concerned that the m3 processor would not meet my needs. However, after loading Microsoft Office 2016, Visio and Paint Shop Pro I had no problems with the machine. I am not doing large sets of calculation, database work or video editing. This has been a quick, responsive machine.

my fiancé was in the market for an ultra portable laptop and always wanted a surface. this was a great deal and possibly one of the best ones from Black Friday. only gripe we have is that it didn't come with the surface pen when normally the pro line does. otherwise terrific purchase

I've been waiting for tablets to mature. I really didn't want a tablet that was more toy than tool, and this one fits the bill. I write for several different magazines and on this tablet I can run Office as well as my Adobe suite. I can write the article, crop and process the photos, and produce charts all without having to lug around a big laptop. This may well replace my office computer.

Probably the best purchase I have made in years! I use my surface for freelance work. It's compact, fast, and everything I could have asked for. The M3 processor is plenty fast. Love the eye recognition. If you're on the fence, make the jump and purchase it. You won't regret it.

This laptop is very user friendly and extremely light. I have had very heavy laptops in the past and this one is very easy to travel with. It is great that it has a touch screen and I can detach the keyboard as well which is really helpful if I want to read on it like a Kindle.

This device works as expected. I enjoy using this Windows tablet just as much as I like my iPad. There aren't as many applications that are native to the device/platform, but you can use the browser along with flash so there are benefits to the windows OS that compare to IOS.

(I wrote another review on the surface dock which is a must buy with a surface) The surface is an amazing machine. A laptop when you need it and a tablet when you want it. It is very light and thin and surprisingly powerful with the M3. I can do anything I want on it (except heavy gaming). It is more convenient than a macbook and also considerably less priced. Highly recommend.

About the service because of the price and the reviews I've read from others after receiving or opening I really have enjoyed it. I think it's a really good purchase for most uses and is fine in todays mobile world. Would buy it again might buy one as a gift for the wife.
