I bought this to replace my laptop. I am very happy with speed and weight of this devices. just don't like to buy accessories for it that all.

I needed a light-weight lab top computer, then a relative suggested this model to me. I checked the best buy web site and found this model was on sale. I immediately went to the best buy at san Rafael and purchased this model for only $599, saved $400. I had it for one month and found that this model is not only light weight, but also is exact what I need. Microsoft made excellent lap top.

So far the surface has been a great little tablet/computer. I got it for my fiance to use for school and just general internet usage and havent had a single issue besides the learning curve on the new windows system. Love how the keyboard detaches easily and can he used as a laptop or a tablet. It also transitions very smoothly between them. Overall would recommend this to anyone.

I have avoided this device as I viewed it as just another tablet but to my surprise it is a fully functional computer that I can use to do office work and presentations in class. It is able to run continually for 6-8 hours of class and most of it on battery and work with many different projectors without lost of quality. I like this and the deal I purchased it just sweeten the pot

I just switched from Apple to Windows this summer using an HP 2-in-1. It was nice, but somewhat heavy and had HP software preinstalled. I got the Surface Pro 4 just now and love it. Very light, easy to use, no unneeded software, like getting a Google Pixel with pure Android. Windows 10 has been a surprise, much improved from Win 7 and far above Win 8. Outstanding build quality.

It has more than enough power and speed to get the job done. A lot of reviews went on about the faster more powerful models, bragging about game play, video editing, music editing, graphics design and so on. But if you just need to browse the internet, stream videos, chat, type school papers, work on projects for school or work. This machine can do that with power to spare.

We were able to get this with a special black Friday pricing that saved us close to $300. My son is about to start college next fall and wanted some small and powerful, and this fit the bill. He has been using it now for his High School work and loves how compact and powerful it is. It was a great deal with the keyboard included and we are well pleased with this purchase.

This is my first computer/tablet purchase. I have simple needs, mainly use it for web surfing, some gaming, and streaming. It does the job very well. The keyboard that was included is very nice. I got the package on sale and saved several hundred dollars with Best Buy. I do wish the battery life was longer but I wish all battery life lasted longer on everything.

Have been using Windows laptops and Apple iPads for years now but wanted to really get the best of both on a single device - I haven't been disappointed! Kudos to Microsoft for this great product as I do not feel the need to carry a heavy laptop around any more and also not give up on the required performance and many functionality gaps I find on iPads.

This is my families 3rd Surface and we have now replaced all the PC's in the house, desktop and laptop, with the Microsoft Surface. Ease of use and portability make this ideal for home and small business use. We are no longer tethered to a desk with a traditional PC nor do I have leg sweats from using a laptop while watching a TV show or football game.

I previously had a MacBook (now 6 years old) and I needed a new computer. I mostly use the computer for Word, excel, calendar, web browsing. I like that this is light and portable. It has been easy to navigate. I like the tablet and computer modes. That's a nice feature. The stylus is great and I would definitely suggest getting it and the keyboard.
