The Pro 6 is a massive improvement over its predecessors. The battery life is actually decent for a change, unlike the past Surface devices. The device doesn't get too hot and the build is beautiful. It's also very portable, fitting easily into bags and carrying cases. My one gripe is the price and the keyboard and pen being sold separately. Wish they were included. Still worth it for school and work use.

Surface Pro's are amazing machines. They have really improved since the first versions. Lightweight, good battery life. The processing power is quite exceptional for it's size. The microSD slot allows for adding a lot of additional storage space. The kickstand in the back allows nearly all angles of the monitor making it ideal in any environment. I recommend purchasing the keyboard to make the surface a full functional computer.

I had bought this as a gift for family member, and it was my first experience with Surface Pro (I had to set it up first time)! The moment I turned it on, I was guided by the set up wizard through a series of steps, and in 15 minutes was functional and ready to go! Looks sleek and packs a punch in running multiple tasks - ran video, document edit, browsing and music at the same time.

Very fast Decent battery(Full day of computing) Easy to carry Pricy when fully equipped. Fully functional good quality computing device it is.

I purchased one of these for my son and he loved it. I have the surface book but loved the lightness of his, the ease of use and the portability. Needless to say I grabbed one for myself. Works just as good as my surface book, great for school work, watching videos, drawing diagrams. Very life is phenomenal.

Perfect for at work. Battery lasts a full day to 2 days depending what I'm doing on it. So light & compact to put in my bag & carry around to meetings. Amazing screen display & the touch screen makes it very nice to highlight documents.

What a nice machine! The look and feel and overall solidness of this computer is matched by the speed and power of the electronics. That this can all be shoehorned into such a thin, light form is amazing. Only had it a few days and I think this is the one for life.

I bought this for school but it is such a good computer, I actually use it for work too. Its fast, light weight, the battery lasts for days, it gets my work done faster than I thought possible, love this machine. It is great, get one when you can.

Love this computer; light-weight, easy to use--touch screen or pencil; separate or with keyboard attached, fast to process. Would suggest to anyone who wants a computer that can go anywhere.

Small, lightweight computer. Good performance and speed. One downside is that the keyboard is extra. I highly recommend getting the keyboard. In addition to functioning as a keyboard, it provides some protection for the screen.

The right device for anyone migrating to a portable screen in the lightweight tech age! Was upgrading from a Dell Inspiron 1750/Intel Core 2/4GB/300GB 17" (college days) machine, to use for medium MS Office use, email, along with Adobe Premiere, Browser based shopping/reading, Spotify, etc. During a normal case scenario I may have about 3-4 tasks going on at the same time, the fan has yet to kick in. One day I see this being my ultimate workstation machine, but now seeing as my next device may be something with a QHD or 4k screen, I may hand this down to my gf to use for her career. While I may have some cons, they're null and void of the Surface. Developers making apps in the Windows Store have to kick up the stability, some app crashes have been experienced. 5/5

Have had it for about a week and I have to say it’s perfect for what I need. The size is great, speed is no issues, and Touch screen is smooth. I almost picked up a MacBook Air but I’m glad I got this instead.

I first used a surface at work moving from laptops. I already have a iPad at home so i wasn't in a rush to have a new pc. I opted for this when I saw it was faster then my old dell. The set up was easy and I purchased a dock so when I'm done with work, I just switch to home. I use 3 screens when I work & find I use 2 for "home" stuff. I don't do gaming, but web, zoom, spreadsheets are easy to juggle. I've only recently started using it as a tablet. It works just fine. I may purchase the pen to see how it works. I would prefer they come with a basic cover, but since I use it mostly at home, it's not a deal breaker.

Money well spent! It’s fast, portable and super lightweight. I work from this and use to stream from time to time, and it does It all super fast! Very satisfied!

As much as this computer is regarded as being great I am very sceptical because I had the last version of the machine, and it's screen started going out less than a month after purchasing it. I used the optional insurance to have it repaired and they offered me a refurbished replacement. So in a month of owning a Surface I payed for a new computer and got a used one in just over 30 days. I am really hoping that Microsoft has fixed the problem in the last version in this new model. Other than the screen issue the Surface when working properly is a fantastic machine, it's compact and portable and great for any student.

I picked this up as an upgrade to the Surface Pro 3 I've had for several years now. The fact that I could use my accessories from the SP3 without having to reinvest in another keyboard and pen was terrific. The performance is great considering that it's fanless, and battery life is leaps better than what I'd get on the SP3, even when it was brand new. Could it benefit from USB-C? Sure, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Maybe the SP7 will replace the dated mini DisplayPort with a Thunderbolt 3 connector, while keeping the USB 3 Type A connection. That would be a great combination!

I bought this for my son for his school work. He has had experience with Apple products (iPhone and Tablet) and Google products (school uses some Google Chrome laptops). He mentioned the other day that he loves his Surface and it much better than the other products: ease of use, speed, convenience, sync with main computer/Microsoft Office. I also noticed he installed Steam so he does some light gaming when not doing "work". The only down side is that I had to buy the keyboard separately. I wish they had it bundled it with the Surface (the bundle came out a few months after I bought this, lol) :((

This was an upgrade and replacement for my crashed laptop. Originally purchased for personal use but now doubles as my office when I work from home. With access to Microsoft Office and cloud storage it's a convenient choice. I have the i5 and it's quick on response when accessing the web and applications. I purchased the keyboard cover, pen and MS mouse and loving every bit. The pen came in especially handy when I presented a power point and allowed me to easily move through slides with the click of the pen. The convienence of having both a tablet & laptop in this sleek design is amazing.

It's great for streaming,projects,email,office to home,long battery life,fast processor great for multitasking.It's light weight.I love it glad I purchased it.
