Wanted a lightweight, long lasting easy transition computer from a MacBook Air and love it. Great speed and a beautiful display, simple to operate

I've enjoyed using it for school and leisure! It's very easy to carry around and its Windows system is great for me since I'm used to that OS. I have to mention that I also have the keyboard and the surface pen, and I think those accessories are needed to utilize the Pro 6 to its fullest. It is my first Surface product, so I think it is more beneficial to me than it is for someone who already has an older surface pro. It doesn't have a USB-C and other ports, but I personally don't need them. The magnetic charge part is pretty nifty.

I needed to get my wife something she could use for graduate school, something portable yet being able to use the full Microsoft suite. After looking at several products including full laptops I landed on the Surface Pro 6. The model is one of the most basic models but for her needs it does the job and more. She has told me over and over how awesome it is to have it and how nice the keyboard is to type on. It has a good solid weight to it but not heavy and has an excellent screen. I would recommend this product.

The surface pro is very light in weight and comes with a lot of easy to portability. It is easy to use and operate and carry along while traveling. It has a powerful processor that allows it to perform all the operations fast and effectively. The screen is sharp and provides good picture quality. It can be used with a screen touch pen and is compatible with an external keyboard as well. It has a stand at the back that holds it well and can be rested on it to watch videos or for video conferencing. Recommend it!

So far it’s been an amazing product!!! Love everything about it! Fast, great picture and easy to use! Yes, accessories are not included it but dammm! Still a great product and once you buy the accessories ( which I did! Remember price match!!!! LOL) WOW what an amazing product! Well done Microsoft!!!! Yes, could it had a few more features YES! But what you get right now if you didn’t have a system of 2-1, well I LOVE IT!!!!

Easy setup and simple to use. It’s small enough to easily use on the go. But big enough to do my stuff. Fast and responds well. Love it.

I really enjoy this laptop - the only thing I hate is that I purchased this when it first came out. Two weeks later it went on sale and I wound up paying 300 bucks more than everyone else did during the Black Friday. Wish they wouldn't have done that. I like the Surface a lot and glad I made the change from being a decade long Apple user and back to Microsoft. The weight is perfect since I travel often and easy to carry around at work so I don't have to carry my laptop from my office. Good investment.

So I had a prehistoric Toshiba (I owned it for about 10 years) that got really slow. So I decided to get something new. I was in between getting an iPad Pro or the Surface Pro, being that I’m an Apple enthusiast my heart was set on the iPad although I already own an iPad Air 2. After (a lot) of convincing and research, I decided that I would try the Surface. I knew I was in the market for a computer that would keep up with me in school but also wanted something that would let me be creative. I thought that if I didn’t like the surface after 15 days (Best Buy’s policy for returning electronics) I would just return it and get the iPad Pro. It’s been about a month and a half now that I bought the surface and I absolutely love it. I love that it’s portable, that the keyboard detaches. I love the pen. I love that it works like a laptop computer when I need it to be. Although I love Apple products, the surface was just the perfect match for me.

I was kicking around whether to get a tablet or a laptop to replace my aging Galaxy Tablet, and I am pleased that I opted for the Surface. My main goal is to use the Surface for photo editing with some light use in Word and Excel for work. The battery life is sufficient and the graphics are top notch. Where I'm most pleased is with the Surface Pen. I use Pen for detail work where a mouse would be a bit awkward especially when using the brush features in editing software. To my surprise, the pen also acts like a real pen. There is no lag like when using a stylus on a tablet. I also like the portability and speed since it easily fits in my camera bag and boots up extremely fast. I would recommend getting a portfolio cover for it since it's a bit unstable when using it with the type cover on your lap.

I am 100% satisfied with my Surface Pro 6. I trade stocks and am usually on the go, and this tablet has made my day trading routine so much easier. It runs my trading platform with no problems (E-trade pro). Some programs have to be scaled correctly, or they will open really small. Before following any youtube or online source to hack the programs. Go to the programs properties and there is a compatibility tab and you can easily calibrate high dpi settings and you're good to go.

Awesome system! Super fast, ultra lightweight, so portable, and incredibly powerful. I am so impressed with the performance of this system! Boots fast, Windows 10 is so responsive, and it runs all my apps with speed and accuracy. I appreciate the multiple means of interacting with this device, touch screen, trackpad, mouse, pen, detachable keyboard, and on screen inputs. Build quality is excellent, very solid, high quality materials. Excellent system!

I was really scared to make this purchase but I am glad I did. I am a very busy individual and multitasking is a must! My battery life has been great, although I recommend charging it while on battery-save mode. It is also very light weight which is a plus for me since I am all over campus. I also love how I can change the orientation of my screen, this is great when I need to take notes, and I love that I can stand it to various degrees. Super great!

Bought this to replace a regular laptop to use for home use. Love it. Great size, lite, and awesome speed.

There is nothing I can throw a this machine that it can't handle! We had an old dell laptop and we were trying to install some image editing software. It was too much for that poor old machine. The first thing I did when we got this Surface Pro was to install that same software thinking it would slow it down quite a bit, not at all! This machine can edit images, play videos, and do much more at the same time without overheating.

The Surface lineup has always symbolized the greatest that Microsoft has to offer. In this Pro 6, The battery, Display, Speakers, Portability, and Touch Sensitivity is just amazing. Although it is pretty mandatory to get with a Pen and Typecover, the Surface Pro has been a great and reliable laptop. Only possible change would be addition of Type C (covered by Surface Pro 7), and slimming down of bezels (Adressed by Surface Pro X)
