Customers recognize the Surface Pro 6's portability, lightweight design, and responsive touchscreen as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights its generally good performance and practical size, although some find the battery life could be better. However, a common concern is the product's cost, with some users also mentioning limitations in RAM and USB ports. The finish is another area where opinions are divided.

Incredible machine
Light
Powerful
Ease to Use
Low learning curve (unlike Apple products)
Amazing and love the performance of the machine and portability of the Pro. Recommend the keyboard as well. Pen is a nice accessory but certainly not necessary for everyone.

This is easy to travel with. Love the stand build in and the touch screen. It feels like I'm using my phone but with so much more storage and laptop capability. I'm primarily using this to stream amazon prime movies and to manipulate photos I have taken and print them out. The screen resolution and color is amazing for such a little computer. Sound volume is exceptional also. I can enjoy my music and move from room to room and still listen. The battery life is great and running games or amazon doesnt seem to drain it super fast. Very nice! I think the only thing for me, that would top this, would be the scroll style laptop.
Rhe only thing am looking for now is an otter tough case for drop protection. This is my first laptop I purchased and I feel spoiled!!! Smiley face emojis!!!

I had a surface from work. When it became time to replace my personal laptop, I went right to a surface because of my satisfaction with the work computer.
I could not be happier. With my own surface, I am able to do even more, now that I don't have it partially locked down with work security features.
There is nothing this laptop has been unable to do for me. I have the pen, keyboard and a bluetooth mouse (not surface). Everything works great, the pen has been fun to use and learn about.
Really, it does everything it says it can do. I am very happy with this purchase.

The Swiss Army Knife of PCs

I use my Surface Pro for designing, programming, school work, TV, and light gaming. Having the touch screen and pen is great for doing math and science work in OneNote. Tablet mode is quite useful in the car, for reading, or for watching TV. However, it is web browsing in tablet mode can be a little wonky, as websites are loaded for a desktop experience. It is When I want a desktop experience, I plug in a monitor and keyboard. The battery lasts about one day for me, and charging is quick. The boot time is about 12 seconds, but I and it wakes instantly from sleep. Windows Hello facial recognition is impressivley fast, making for quick login. Overall, I think this device is the Swiss Army Knife of PCs.

I can not say enough good things about my surface pro 6. I love everything about it and it is the perfect device for me. It may not be the perfect fit for others, but for me it checks off a lot of boxes.
The SP6 is easy to set up, cortana works great, windows hello is awesome and the build quality is excellent. I bundled this SP6 with the alcantara type cover, arc mouse and surface pen to get the complete experience. I am not regretting doing so at all. I debated getting the new Apple mac book air but went with this devise due to form factor (2 in 1) portability and the windows experience. I am a business professional and need to have full access to MS Office and Skype for business. This decide covered all those areas and came in at a price that was lower a comparably equipped Macbook Air. I did have to do some research and price shopping to build my bundle but it was worth the time.
I can not speak about durability as I have only had the SP6 for a month but over all the build quality seems like it will hold up fine. I am not concerned with nos having USB type C or all these other ports that people complain about. They sell accessories for that! You buy a SP6 for the experience it provides, the easy of use, the portability and the kicker for me was the improved internals.
I know that I will have this device for the next several years and I could not be more thrilled. I will be a Microsoft buyer again and will not consider Apple in my future purchases.

I bought this to compliment my Surface Studio 2. I use it primarily for work and school related tasks. Using Google Suite to show presentations, make changes to google docs, etc as well as login to my university's portal to complete homework tasks like Pearson, math lab, etc. Its also great for browsing the internet on the couch. I haven't used it to run Adobe products or video editing software and don't intend to. It's perfect for what I need it for, a quick, light, ultra-portable laptop replacement.

Great Table for Artists

I purchased the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 to revive my artistic creativity, and to de-stress from every day stressors. I'm still learning my new toy. However, it would be better not to have the "password" requirement constantly asking one to "type in their password. (I'm still trying to find out how to deactivate the password feature on my device.) The Surface Pro 6 model is extremely light and easy to carry. I will say, do figure out how to mount your pen so that you don't lose your pen during transition (carry). Not many apps (programs) on the Surface Pro 6 for drawing. Some of the apps you have to pay for. Why pay for drawing apps. I need a drawing app that is part of the Microsoft brand available free of charge. The power cord is a bit awkward. The power card is not your normal cord you see on the typical tablets/laptops. The power cord is like a magnet that attaches itself on the right side of the table. Very unique but doesn't stay in its power slot. For extra GB storage, make sure to purchase a Sandisk for storing those priceless drawings. The Sandisk slot is hard to find and is just below the power cord slot; hidden, of course. Finally, Microsoft found a way to force its customers to purchase both the pen (stylus) and keyboard separate. Kind of Microsoft's way of forcing customers to purchase in order to get the full benefits of the Surface Pro 6 (or any of its Surface Pro brands. Overall, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (or whatever brand you buy) is best used for drawing; creativity; art; showing PowerPoint or MS Excel spreadsheet presentation. This product is only best used for Art and interior designing creativity. It is not your typical tablets. At least, I didn't buy the Pro 6 for that reason. Enjoy!!

I got an absolutely amazing deal an open-box version of this device, and I. LOVE. IT. This is the first serious convertible/2-in-1 that I've owned, and I'm in love with the platform.
While I can't complain about the deal I got, I wish it'd been the bigger version. I do run some heavy workloads, and the i5/8G version is a little anemic for what I need. That being said, I still have the device and use it on q daily basis.

This replaced my previous surface 4. Same great features. Could use existing keyboard and pen. Like the new black look it appears richer color then silver. Although it is now faster processer, have not been able to judge that yet. Battery appears to last longer. Very pleased. I had extended warranty on 4 so it was free swapout as the battery on 4 was starting not to last as long. Recommend warranty due to that. Did the same for the 3 to 4 swap a while back.

Before I started medical school, I was looking for a tablet or laptop that could help making my studying and note taking a little easier. The surface pro 6 has everything I wanted!! It’s small and compact, making it easier for traveling. It’s also very fast and the screen resolution is perfect. I’ve only used it for about 1 month, but so far it has been more than I hoped for. I bought a keyboard, pen, and surface mouse with it too.

My middle-schooler is raving after he is able to complete online assignments and log into interactive websites to also complete school work. I bought the surface pro 6 for school and so far I love it! The size is perfect for carrying it around with me and I love that you can turn it from a laptop to a tablet in a matter of seconds! The touch screen is also helpful for certain things! I’m able to write notes, draw, etc! Because I’ve only had it for 2 weeks, I’m still learning all of the cool stuff this computer can do. I giving this 4 stars only because I feel like I’m always charging it. I feel like the battery life doesn’t last long. However, because this laptop fits all of my other needs; I am more than fine with dealing with the charging situation!
