Well It has survived 4 years of high school for my son. Back and forth from school and all the gaming is does and not a problem. Great for a child with motor skill problems as well

I just bought the surface pro 7 i5 bundle (with the black type cover included in the box) and it was priced at 799 plus tax. Considering the bundle is on holiday sale, this stand alone to should be as well. You'll be crazy to buy this over the bundle when the price is identical. It's like buying a 2 wheel drive suv over a 4 wheel drive even though they both cost the same...btw I haven't actually tested it yet as it is a gift for the wife and probably she will get it running after the day after Christmas.

First time using a Surface Pro 7. I 'm so gad I bought this computer for school and personal use. It fits my needs perfectly. I've had this computer since March, 2020. It's being a wonderful experience to use Windows again. It's very easy to use. It does everything a laptop can do and more. Portability is a plus and so light. Thank you Microsoft for this work of art!!. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for Surface Pro 8!

The product condition was exactly as described which worried me since it was apparently used… but I haven’t noticed any defects with the device and it runs perfectly!

Outstanding device that meets my needs perfectly. I use it primarily with the digital piano. The full sized USB port is very handy for the MIDI connection

The product is good. Too bad it comes without a keyboard. Expensive price for a device alone. Overall excellent. Too bad it comes without an open Microsoft Office.

I had first bought the surface go, so I said why not buy something of better quality, I couldn't have a better idea, it makes you feel that you bought something of quality, I feel like everything is integrated In the os. Something that amazes me is the speed with which the battery charges and the good life it has, it is not the 10hr that Microsoft says but it is good.

I saved up for a long time to buy this computer and it didn't even last a year and a half. It worked fantastically until it didn't - out of nowhere. Just stuck in a boot loop with no way out. I tried all the button holding combinations, USB booting, draining the battery, etc. Only way to get my data back now is to pay someone to destroy the unit to fish out the SSD and run a data recovery. Look at https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Microsoft_Surface_Pro_7 - the surface pro 7 has a repairability index of 1/10. Even if I had a backup - the unit is hosed. This has been a problem with surfaces since the beginning. Microsoft will replace for the cost this is currently being sold for here, but there is a huge note that says they will not recover any data. I have bought cheap laptops over the past few decades and thought I'd invest in something nice for a change. Silly me, had 3x the life out of machines 1/4 the price. Microsoft should be ashamed.

Within months it became super slow. Touch doesnt work well. Skip the headache and get an Ipad.

Touch screen stopped working after 1 year of use..

These Pro’s are a gamble to get one issue free. I have been going back and forth with Microsoft for close to 5 months now. I purchased a New Surface pro which turned out to be defective. I reached out to Micro. for a new replacement and unfortunately, they only give new exchanges if within 30days of purchase. So they replaced it with a damaged body refurbished pro. So I reached out again and they replaced that one with a defective pro, it had a sensitive pop in the center of the screen, literally! So I reached out again and they replaced it with another defective pro, this one had the same issue as my first one with a streak line while scrolling up/down. It’s now May and this is my 4th pro and I have requested for a new pro in exchange which they will not do. The Micro representative told me try complaining on Twitter or Facebook to see if I have better luck there. I have all email transactions saved, and the representative was not being nasty just honest, so here I am still fighting.

I would recommend staying away from all surface products. I bought a surface pro 7 that now has a screen issue. Something came lose is the device without being dropped. I would pay to have my device fixed. I have spoken with geek squad, best buy, and Microsoft. The only option I have available at this point is to pay for a refurbished model 450(dollars). I cannot have my device fixed, there is no one I can send it to, have it repaired, pay for the repair, which would likely be less than 450 dollars, and have it sent back to me. The screen is not cracked the case is not damaged. I think a wire came lose inside the machine, and there is no way to get that fixed. Surfaces are built so that you cannot get into them. So a year after I purchased it, ~a month out of warrantee, and I can't even pay someone to fix the device.

I spent extra money for this lap top as it was recommended for business. It was the worse purchase I have ever made from best buy. The screen did not work (would not release) whenever I first bought it. It was sent in for repair. It came back with blurry lines around the outer screen. It has never been dropped or placed in harsh conditions, yet it is falling apart. The bottom is dropping out now since the glue is failing under the keyboard. It has never cooled really well. I would never recommend this computer.
