Poor battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to replace 5th generation M3 Surface Pro. Ended up returning it because the battery life was very poor. I was lucky if I could get 4 hours of use with this tablet. For this reason, I returned it and purchased Surface Pro X which has much better battery life.

Terrible Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life is 4 hours when you surf the web. I’ve had two tabs open and the battery drains 30% over half an hour. Terrible product! Microsoft needs to fix this ASAP!!!!

Love so much!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my surface pro! The quality in the design and in the screen is alone worth the purchase, I am a real estate agent and I use several programs and I haven't had one issue. I love that I can even add more storage to this just in case I run out as well.

Great camera and size
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera dims when your slightly out of range. It’s not a good camera for tying fast, it stalls a lot as well as freezing a lot. I have to shut it on and off so it can unfreeze. And for a new “good” computer this is very disappointing and a waste of money!!!!

Son Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful… I returned it back because it came without a charging cord on an open box. I needed to buy charging cord for $80.00 (not new) extra it was too much… on top of that I have to buy a keyboard. Too much for a 11 year old.

Solid product. Different hookup than SP6.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product, perfect for my wife in grad school. Only disappointment is that Microsoft keeps changing dock compatibility. I have a dock that links to two monitors that I use for my Surface Pro 6. The Surface Pro 7 almost fits but they changed the ports ever so slightly so it would not. Had to purchase separate cord to connect.

Love the Suface
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a Surface 3 for about years an loved it. as everything else, it started slowing down and felt it was time to upgrade. Went in to the store and talked with a salesman who went over all the features. Messed around with it an was very impressed. I guess I am a Surface guy

Excellent Computer
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the design of the surface line. The product is responsive, and the only issues I have had so far is that it occasional disconnects from the wifi network. I also have a Surface Go and have noticed the same issue. Other than that issue, it's an excellent laptop.

Posted .Hey there,
We're thrilled that you love your new Surface Pro 7! If you continue to experience issues with disconnects from Wi-Fi, we first recommend making sure that your drivers and firmware are updated. If that doesn't help, try running the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit. For more information, go here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4037239/surface-fix-common-surface-problems-using-surface-diagnostic-toolkit

Cover and Pen?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our sales person, Zeften, sold us a surface pro 7 with cover and pen (so we thought). However when I received my laptop, no cover or pen in the box. Come to find out those are sold separately. As a matter of fact I chose the red one because I would have to wait for the black one. We asked twice if it comes with a pen.

Intermittent WiFi and Bluetooth Connection Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially I really wanted to keep this Microsoft Surface. I liked its versatility, being able to use it exactly as I would a laptop, and as a tablet as well, along with the ease of attaching or disengaging the keyboard, and having the built-in kickstand was a plus. The graphics and clarity of the screen was good, although not as crystal clear and defined as the screens of comparable Samsung or Apple iPad tablet screens. Responsiveness of the touchscreen was also not as good, but adequate. I did appreciate the inclusion of a microSD slot for easy and cheap memory expansion, and a USB-C port that can also charge the tablet along with the included proprietary charger. The proprietary charger connects with a nice magnetic-type connector which I really liked. There is also a standard USB-A port. However, upon using the tablet for several days, I noticed a steady pattern of WiFi and Bluetooth connection issues. The WiFi connection would slow down considerably and I would have to wait a while after clicking on anything, and all the waiting and buffering became intolerable. And I know for a fact it was not an issue on our end because we have fast internet speeds and all of our other devices were having no connection problems whatsoever—streaming on our tv’s, our family all using our tablets, phones, laptops, etc.—no issues at all, just problems with this Surface. Bluetooth connection was also bad, whenever we would try to use any of our wireless headphones. The style, brand, price range, type of headphones did not matter—we tried our AirPods, our $300+ wireless headphones, $15 wireless headphones, all to no avail. The connection would frequently stutter as we listened to music, or give static. In the end I returned this Microsoft Surface mainly because of the internet connection issues—no matter the other pluses of its use, form factor and configurations, having an unreliable internet connection is a definite dealbreaker.
