Great Computer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my daughter. Second one, the first one lasted four years. Not bad. System still works the screen is flickering when it gets hot. Hopefully this one will last just as long.

Surface Pro 7
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent quality we've come to expect from the Surface Pro, this purchase replaced an older Surface Pro. It does not come with a pen, which was disappointing.

Practical
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it for my husband and he loves it. Everything he wanted and needed to do he can do it from here. Only downside is it didn't come with the pen which we thought it would.

Constant WiFi Adapter/Driver failures, no fix
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife needed a new, easy-to-use, and lightweight laptop with a functional touchscreen capability for work. Since I already had the bigger (512GB ssd) and faster (16GB ram) version of the Surface Pro 7 for my job, I felt this device checked all the boxes for what she needed. After unboxing and getting things started, my wife - who is uncomfortably polite to Siri - found a new friend in Cortana. Personally, I always felt Cortana was too nosy but I let them have their fun introduction (before I would offer to silence Cortana forever). Setup was easy enough and then it was time to start offloading the bloatware and garbage Microsoft defaults so she could make it her own. Things seemed to be going well and the device seemed like the perfect solution... until I heard "hey, where'd the internet go?" This was a sign of things to come. The Wifi Adapter (Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160mhz) is trash. Or the wifi driver is trash. Or perhaps the interaction between the hardware, software, and operating system is trash. Regardless of which sucks more, the Surface would connect to our home wifi then drop. Troubleshoot and repeat. The only thing missing was Cortana refusing to open the pod bay doors. If you don't believe me, go ahead and open up a new tab on Chrome (not Edge) and google (not Bing) "Surface Pro 7 wifi" and doom scroll the complaints with unhelpful technical support and zero solutions. The customer support from Microsoft on this issue can only be described as "silicon valley gaslighting" because there is no problem with this very-expensive-device-that-can't-maintain-a-wireless-connection-to-the-internet and we're obviously crazy. We, like the countless others who have identified a significant failure with the wifi adapter/driver in the Surface Pro 7, tried all the half-brained workarounds and driver updates (which of course can't be downloaded TO the Surface without internet). You could tinker with the driver settings as some suggest, but those didn't work here. Your mileage may vary (if you can actually drive more than 5 feet at a time before stalling). When hooked up to the internet via ethernet, the Surface does what is supposed to do... if you wanted a desktop computer with “okay” specs and enjoy playing musical chairs with the limited available ports for peripherals. Until and unless they fix the obvious failures with the Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160mhz adapter, this is a beautiful and sleek tablet that will go as far as your ethernet cord (that plugs into your $250 docking station which is not included) will allow. It seems that Intel adapter has found its way into other non-Surface 2-in-1’s that run Windows 10 – and also have the same issues. All of this is to say I’m bummed this one didn’t work because it does check all of the boxes except “portable” – which should be an urgent priority for Intel and Microsoft to fix. We are returning it and will roll the dice on an exchange and hope this might be a hardware issue. I’m not optimistic that is the case given the prevalence of the complaints out there, but we might have to find an alternative.

Great tablet
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am used to iPad’s, but had to get a tablet with a Microsoft operating system because of software requirements. The tablet was easy to change to and I love the face recognition for security.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a gift and the person loves it. They use it as a computer and as a device to draw and sketch on. And they said it’s great. Bought the keyboard and pen as well.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as amazing as expected. Only downside is there is a learning curve as things are differently located from my old one. Also, I can't seem to use microsoft chrome but microsoft edge seems to work just fine.

Surface Pro 7
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light weight, great screen clarity, does everything I bought it for. One minor annoyance, occasionally the screen will lock up and it takes a bit to get it to turn off/reboot. Really good camera.

Wrong keyboard shipped
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The actual product is very good BUT, in the shipment, I received the incorrect keyboard for the surface ordered...frustrating. I was not even aware of different keyboards but there is a difference in the "pins"..
