Let me just say that this Surface is the first Surface that I have ever onwned. I mainly bought it so I could use Photoshop. This thing is amazing. I'll attach some work I have done on Photoshop using the Surface.

Love this laptop! Got it for school. My wife is an Apple fan and I made her switch to the surface pro! She loves it! Very cool laptop. Battery life could be a little better.

Just to start off, this was used as a graphic design machine (mostly drawing). Let's start off with the Slim Pen 2. I find it extremely hard to use as a drawing stylus, when it is in the shape of a carpenter pencil. I find myself pushing harder on the screen, trying the get the correct linewidths and battling the uneven spread of the ink as its laid on the screen. What I mean by the uneven spread, is you can draw a straight line, but you get blowout on the sides making the line inconsistent. Maybe I'm spoiled, because I use Wacom Cintiq's, but a multi billion dollar company such as Microsoft should have perfected a stylus by now for their machine. Windows 11 should just delete itself. I ran into a problem where I would explore a folder, such as my documents, and the window explorer would just freeze for close to 40 seconds. This happened multiple times, and I ran into the same issue with the Surface Laptop Studio last year and returned that. I guess I have high expectations with the Surface Pro line of products. Personally, if the stylus would draw clean lines, I could deal with the other issues. I would say that is my biggest issue in the end. Yes, I have tried other stylus brands, but saw no difference. So I'm going back to bouncing between my IPad Pro and laptop. The software I use for drawing is Clip Studio Paint and have the smoothing on max and still have these problems. If you look at the line in the pic below, you can see how the Slim Pen 2 has multiple blowouts on the sides just from one pen stroke. Lastly. I would say I used 50% battery life in about 40 minutes using Clip Studio. Thought I would put that out too.

I recently purchased the Microsoft Surface Pro 9, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! This remarkable device has become an integral part of my daily life, seamlessly blending productivity and entertainment into one sleek package.

Bought this for the purpose of taking notes in class and I must say this laptop has made the task very easy. However, the battery life isn't the best, and I have found that it overheats as well. Keyboard is easy to use but could definitely be sturdier!
