Surface computers are a great value except Microsoft needs to get companies to push out more ARM64 drivers if they want to keep using this processor as the main one.
I would recommend this to a friend

So far, the Surface Pro 11 has generally been working well. It has proven to be compatible with all of the software that I generally work with, so no problems there.
Drivers, however, are another issue. It is not compatible with any current manufacturer printer drivers or utilities. You must use a generic Microsoft printer driver and its compatibility with various printers is hit-and-miss. Some work fine and others don’t print correctly. For example, I have two Brother multi-function printers. One works fine and the other cannot print in landsacape mode correctly. It shrinks the landscape print and prints it on the upper half of a portrait page. This should improve in time as the device manufacturers recompile their drivers for ARM, but it can be frustrating right now if you have specific devices that you want to use with your SnapDragon-based processor Surface PCs.

I use a surface pro to take between home and work, Bought this for my son to take to college. Hooked it up to a second monitor to give him a large workspace. He’s not a gamer, so he has all the power and storage he needs.

Fantastic computer. Would be 5 stars if everything works with it. Not MS' fault, but 3rd party apps don't always with the new processor. Wish they would have released some info prior to rolling these out.

I got this for school/work and it has really surprised me. It runs great and the screen is amazing. It also surprisingly runs games well even though it doesn't have much to help in that department.

Great little computer. I’ve heard that software limitations but have not run into any. It’s fast and battery life is phenomenal. It’s light and makes a great tablet if you move into the mode. The keyboard isn’t the best, but there are worse ones out there as well. Need something fast, portable, and with long battery life … this might be ideal so long as there aren’t apps that won’t run.
