Its well built and comfortable to use. Can't say anything negative about it after 6 weeks of use.

Although if you are a person that wishes to also use it as a laptop I would recommend looking into the Brydge keyboard as it turns the Surface into a laptop to use at any given point. Why Microsoft doesn't offer an option like this I have no idea, but for people that would like to have that option as well I would recommend looking into that.

If you want to get as much use out of the surface then you must buy the keyboard, it feels great to type on it with the perfect tactile feedback you would want if you type a lot. The alcantara material also feel great and is comfortable to type on after long periods of use.
