Typing on a tablet screen can be really inefficient when you are typing papers or something longer than a quick email. With the keyboard, you can have the best of both worlds with a portable tablet and keyboard.

I just can't belive you have to buy this after you buy the Surface Pro. Why isn't it included? The fit is very good, the keys are OK on the keyboard. I must pound on my keys - the G and R didn't want to register when I typed - tough when you need an R to write "Resume" or "Write". I looked forward to the new keyboard and like it better than my first. Nice job Microsoft and your vendor!
