Perfect for graduate school and love how it works seamlessly and effortlessly. The magnetic attachment is a plus. Surface automatically recognizes and switches to regular/computer mode from tablet mode when connected.

Since, I have purchased the pen and keyboard. I have another Bluetooth keyboard but nothing works quite like the OEM keyboard for typing and as a protective cover for the screen when not in use.

Easy to type on and I’m super picky with keyboards. Mouse pad is sensitive enough to manipulate but not overly sensitive. Doesn’t make me miss my usb mouse. I do wish it was cheaper

He really likes the fact that he can have a regular keyboard instead of using just the pop-up screen one. He also likes that you can detach part of it. It is a good protective cover when traveling. The color matches nicely with the other accessories.

My surface came with the signature gray cover in a bundle. While it has a nicer feel, I needed black that could be easily wiped off and this fit the bill. Typing feels the same on both.

Great overall keyboard

The ability to raise the keyboard up is a much better design. And I find both the keys are more responsive and the touchpad is more robust. The only downside is not functionality, but aesthetics. The soft backside, which becomes the viewable cover when closed, is easily scratchable and now appears much more dated than it is. Doesn’t not affect functionality though.

I love that it is magnetically conmeected to the tablet and stays secured. You don’t have to do anything. Just let the magnetics to its thing and everything works great. And i love that its soft it kind of surves as a screen protector

Yes there are cheaper bluetooth options but nothing integrates with the Surface as nicely. It's too bad it is about $50 more expensive than it should be. If you buy a Surface Pro, drop down to a cheaper model so you can afford this accessory. I am not kidding, it is a MUST accessory for any Surface user.

That being said, this keyboard is super easy to connect, and works great. It takes a little time to get used to the spacing of the keys, but when you do it is very easy to type with this keyboard.

A Must For Surface Pro

I initially wanted to buy one on Amazon but the one I bought wasn't compatible, even though it was supposed to be. I went to Best Buy and got this one and it works great.
