Love the interface and 2 in 1 feature. Great for casual use, but cannot run multiple programs without interruption or error message. I'm a teacher and got this thinking 8gb would be enough to simultaneously run zoom with about 20 participants while sharing my screen to show a few videos and webpages. But with out a graphics HD card it could only do one at a time and sometimes I can't even have multiple web pages open, seems to be partial with Microsoft edge and explorer. When I downloaded Chrome, it would keep exiting, have to shut down and restart the surface pro it delete chrome and redownload. Take into account the lack of HD card and go up in GB to avoid the problem I have. I ended up keeping because couldn't return within the return window due to Covid complications so I'm stuck with it and only use as a tablet for simple tasks.

Selling the Surface Pro without this is a bit silly and makes the total cost of the computer somewhat deceptive, BUT it really is a great keyboard for a computer of this form factor. Absolutely necessary for the Surface Pro.

This keyboard is so great and easy to use. My children use it with ease. I’m able to detach it from my Microsoft Pro with use and use the touchscreen monitor.

Love the ease of of use for this product. No need to “get used to it” and it removes so easily when you want to use the surface as a tablet.

I like the feel of the keyboard. My only complaint is that I miss having a numeric keypad, but the keyboard is used for traveling and meets my desire to keep the computer and peripherals to a minimum. If I need a numeric keypad, I just use a bigger keyboard when at home/office.

The keyboard works great, looks great, and fit nicely to the surface pro. While you can use surface pro without keyboard the keyboard is almost a must have.

I love how it snaps on so easily and makes typing a breeze.

I previously owned a surface pro 3 when it debuted. This is similar but has backlighting. The keys are just right for response and the trackpad is accurate and easy to use. Must have for a Surface Pro, it shouldn't even be considered an "accessory"

I have no idea why my original keyboard quit working. This is a replacement for my Surface Pro 4 and works quite well.

Quiet and compact. Illuminated keys. Easy to use. Nice texture.

The unit I purchased this keyboard as "Open Box". It was well worth the discounted price with minor cosmetic damage only. I was very pleased to see that it was backlit. As I use my Surface Pro in varying conditions, the backlighting is a big plus. The downside for me is that the touch pad is too sensitive and until I disabled some of its features, I was constantly activating links that I was not interested in. With the adjustment I can move around on pages without these unexpected problems.

The way to go for surface pro. Spring for the keyboard if you get the surface pro. Doubles as a cover. Keys are layed out comfortably and the mouse pad is responsive.
