    I was skeptical of the Surface in general, but my friend had one and nicely showed me the perks of it. So, at the time, I couldn't afford a keyboard, but I finally could. The employee was able to show me the grip the keyboard had on the surface, which made me feel better if I dropped it and was only able to grab it by the keyboard, hypothetically.

    While the surface pro can be used as a tablet-like device with finger input, those that need to type a lot will definitely benefit from this keyboard. The keys are soft and don't make a lot of noise which is great if you're working at night (which is possible thanks to the lit keys).

    I use my Laptop for projecting slides on a large screen. I do it by Wi-Fi whenever possible but also got the VGA to HDMI wire so can do with any smart TV. Tablet also works well teaching math by writing on the screen and showing on TV or projection display. Of course is also very fast and useful for normal email and office applications.

    I have used a lot of smaller keyboards for various products (IPAD, Surface, laptop) and this is probably the best of the bunch. I use it daily for my work surface and I like it better than the laptop I used to have. Key backlighting is good for planes, space of the keys work for my male hands, and the connection to the surface is strong.
