I tried a wireless keyboard and mouse but that was too bulky for transportation. It's expensive for what you get but almost required for any type of professional setting. It should be included with the Surface Pro in my opinion.

My College Freshman Loves It!

The Surface Pro is very versatile and can be used like a tablet, typewriter and you can even write on it with the stylus and it will convert it to type. My daughter is very happy with it, she uses it for everything (including school)!

Light but not flimsy. When attached didn't "give" when typing. Keys are comfortable and give just the right amount of resistance. As comfortable to use as a full size keyboard. Can actually type no two finger hunt and peck.

Do I think that it should come with the surface? Sure it should, but it is a gimmick that seems to work for Microsoft. It doesn't seem like you are spending as much on the surface, because the cover is just an accessory, like the mouse.

Very responsive touch pad-Keys compared to Type 3.

A very responsive touch pad compared to Type3 and keys are very responsive too. The only thing I did not like is the Teal color started looking worn/ faded out after less that a month of use.
