I bought this with the surface tablet and I was thinking it was going to suck. But it was a good buy because the keyboard is back lit and the light is adjustable. I definitely recommend it. I think it should come with the tablet but I get that microsoft needs to make money somewhere.

If you want a keyboard and a cover for your Surface Pro this is a must have. It just works!

Our daughter starts college in a few days. I wanted her to try the highly rated Lenovo Ideapad. She had her heart set on the Microsoft Surface Pro. I caved. How do you say no to probably the most important college tool she needs? Best Buy had a $150 coupon for students which basically paid for this optional keyboard. That made penny-pinching Dad happy.

I forgot I was typing on such a small keyboard its that nice. it allows me to grab my surface and easily navigate around with ease and not have to worry about the touchscreen. makes typing very nice and fluid and really does turn the surface into a very nice small laptop. its just a shame that this is extra. it should come with the surface

The key board works just fine. I do have issues some time and have to take off and put back on.

This works great, especially if you have things to complete at home in the evening from the sofa!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't figured out if something is user error or not. Every once in a while my keyboard doesn't seem like it's recognized by my surface pro. I don't know though if it's something I did or if it's the keyboard because it's still pretty new and I haven't figured everything out yet. But everything else about it is great. And if I find out it's user error, I would give this 5 stars.

The keyboard works as expected. I just wish they would sell the keyboard with the Surface Pro

Great keyboard. Very durable and lightweight. I would highly recommend this accessory.

The Surface Pro Type Cover is well engineered to fit and work perfectly with the Surface Pro. May not be the right choice for several straight hours of novel-writing, but works great for taking notes at meetings, writing e-mails, etc. It's remarkably sturdy - considering how thin it is, it doesn't bounce or bend much when used for normal typing.

This key board works great, just like on a regular computer, also protects the screen when closed

I bought this for my new Surface pro 4. I works great to protect the screen too! love it.

its a little odd for me to use since i am used to my keys being raised a little bit more and I've never used a keyboard with a tablet before. However I like it because I feel as if i don't have to hit the keys as hard to type up things and it also works as a cover for my surface pro 4

Bought open box excellent condition. It works perfectly and was only half the price!

I wouldn't want to use this as just a tablet so this was a necessity. Easy to use and works well.

I found the key pad to be easy to attach and comfortable to use. No issues with it thus far.

Don't spill anything on it. Very sensitive. Otherwise great keyboard. Very compact as well.

This keyboard cover works just like the keyboard on my laptop. Just wish it was back-lit.

All said the folding key board is of a good quality there are minor quirks' from time to time
