this one is way better than the one it replaced. the keys are far enough apart that double clicking keys have finally stopped. it also has a better over all feeling than the past one.

This new type cover works great with my Surface Pro 3. The keys and touchpad are way better than the previous keyboard and I like that it lights up and the brightness can be adjusted.

This is simply a good keyboard by any standards. It's as easy for me to type on as a regular laptop keyboard. Also, the track pad is nice to use, better than the previous version too.

They are awesome and lightweight. I love the magnetic snap on feature where you can detach and reattach in one second. Since the Surfaces have the kickstand, these work flawlessly.

I used the old type cover with a surface pro 3 for about 6 months, and I did not enjoy the keyboard. This new cover is a great improvement the key clicks are much more satisfying.

This is a great keyboard to go along the Surface Pro 4. The color is beautiful, keys are sturdy, trackpad is precise and I can type in it as fast as in any other desktop keyboard!

I like it a lot. Well built and easy to attach. Would like it a little more if they could somehow incorporate a system activity light. The Caps key and Function keys light though.

Everything works as it should. It's got a comfortable feel, it's sturdier than i thought it would be. Smaller size but not too small that you can't get used to it.

The Surface Pro 4 keyboard is a substantial improvement over the Surface 2 keyboard. Much more user friendly and comfortable - feels more like a real keyboard. Well done Microsoft!

Really nice keyboard. The backlighting alone makes it worth the money. Don't waste additional cash on the next model up (biometrics) when the SP4 has built in facial recognition.

Makes me love typing on this surface now. The old type cover was passable but this one is actually enjoyable. The soft touch keys and keyboard and great touch pad make it a dream.

I wasn't crazy about purchasing the keyboard separately. I got my husband the surface for Christmas and he wanted a keyboard. It works well and he likes the color. Good product.

I think this is the best keyboard I have used in a long time. I never liked any of my laptop's keys. The feel is great and it seems to be a quality addition to the Surface Pro.

This keyboard is much better than the SP3 keyboard; the trackpad is much improved too. I have a SP3 and the new SP4 keyboard works perfectly with my SP3. Highly recommend it.

The type cover keyboard works well and is a must have if you plan on purchasing the tablet. The soft keyboard on screen takes up too much of the screen surface to be of much use and does not respond very well to touch. The keyboard responds very well and is easy to type on.

It snaps in without a problem. Found no downside because I don't have a heavy hand when I type. I like to write on my Surface and type up my billing. I don't type when I take notes so it's fast and I avoid the clumsiness of a spin around type of table that I used to have.

The keys are separated which is a plus from the last version. Also the touchpad is great. The only thing missing is the finger print reader, taking out one star.

This is a must have if you own a Surface Pro 4, excellent upgraded design from last year's version makes typing more comfortable and easy to do. Works with the Pro 3 as well!

Purchased this with my Surface Pro and works great! Loved the backlit keys too. Makes it easy in darker locations (or early morning!) to see what I'm typing.

This is a great combination. Couldn't get the bundle deal where the surface was included but the separate purchase was worth it to go along with the surface.
