This is the third cover I purchased. The first lasted 6 months with light use. I bought a replacement and within one week something was rattling around inside. I returned it while I had the chance. This is working okay, again with very light use. I dictate most things on the PC so I don't have to use the keyboard all that much..its stay away rom surface products.

The original keyboard letter r stopped working one day. The replacement keyboard will stop working entirely randomly. Only solution is to pull it off and slap it back on. I love the surface pro performance and pc platform over the iPad or MacBook, however, the flimsy keyboard obviously has longevity and quality issues. Also the SP is bulky and heavy. If Apple had better performance would change the equation.
