Great functioning keyboard, easy on -easy off. Blue color compliments Surface Pro nicely.

This keyboard is awesome. Feels great, lights up, covers the screen of the Surface Pro when closed, it does it all. Attaches to the Surface Pro via magnets which are have a perfect level of strength. If you are getting a Surface Pro 4, do yourself a favor and get the type cover. It is so worth the money. I bought mine when entering into a graduate business program and it's been amazing. Highly recommended!

I Purchased this Keyboard to match my boyfriends Surface Pro 4, it is very responsive and works very well. I would recommend this to anyone who is buying a new Surface Pro 4.

Got this teal cover/keyboard, and have been really happy with it. Everyone compliments the color and its very comfortable to type on it. Feels like I'm still on my MacBook.

Wasn't sure how this type of keyboard would hold up over time due to its build material and color. Debated on getting a darker color like black but really wanted the red because its different and stands out. After owning this for 6+ months it has had no issues. Typing on it is as good as it was on day number one and there hasn't been a problem keeping it clean. The best part for me is the backlit keyboard.

Protects my commuter well. There are moments when my computer doesn't recognize that this is attached. Not sure if it's the computer or the keyboard though.

Works perfect for the surface 4. The keys are evenly spaced. I don't see why I would need a fingerprint reader. I did just fine without it using the surface pro 3 keyboard.

The key board works great, attaches with ease and I like the light touch of the keys.

While I don't think this is as essential as some might have you believe, it is a good companion to the Surface Pro tablet. I initially thought I'd rarely keep it attached to the Surface, but as it turns out I have almost never had it detached. I've found it very handy to be able to flip the keyboard back when not in use, then quickly flip it forward to be able to type something quick or use the trackpad.

I like that I can still feel the full click of the keys when I type. I'm not used to the fact that it can disconnect. It bothers me when it accidentally comes off.

We did our research before buying a Surface Pro 4 and one of the weighting factors was the reviews indicating the keyboard for Pro 4 was much improved over prior versions. After having used it for awhile, we have been pleased with the choice. Compared to many "similar" options for iPads, there's really not much comparison. The attachment points to the Surface are great. It's a robust and easy connection without the typical hassle that comes with syncing a keyboard to an iPad. The keys are probably as close to the real feel of a classic keyboard as you can get when pairing up with a tablet.

The Surface Pro Type Cover allows me to transition between the laptop and tablet sides of the Surface with ease. It also provides solid protection for the screen when carrying the Surface. However, I highly recommend a separate protection sleeve or case when carrying, especially if you throw your Surface in a backpack. Mine got scuffed up a little bit before I started using a carrying sleeve.

I was cautious based on some of the reported problems with the keyboard not being recognized, but so far it works great. Although, I keep it connected most of the time.

The new trackpad is larger than the previous version. feels smoother and more responsive. Keyboard keys have good feeback. Love the color options and the suede lining.

Bought my first Surface so had to go ahead and get the keyboard with it. Not the color I wanted, but it was the only one they had in the store. Overall, I'm satisfied.

It's a good keyboard makes it way easier to type than only using the touchscreen

After nearly 2 years of having this computer combined with this keyboard, the keyboard 1. still works, 2. hasn't bent from hand pressure. These are both impressive for myself because I'm a klutz in most cases. However, where the hands sit can get marked up easily by anything that rubs against it. It will go back to the original color/state but it takes awhile.

With the new larger glass trackpad, this is the one to buy. FYI - Yes it works with the earlier models (including the Surface RT), but it's footprint is not the same.
