THE Surface Pro Type Cover IS GREAT: You can Type comfortably and navigate the Web with ease using Microsoft Surface Pro. It is Well-spaced, and the backlit keys and a 2-button trackpad make it simple to input data or type up notes, even in dim lighting. Sure makes work a little more fun.

This is my second keyboard for my Microsoft Surface laptop/tablet. I'm replacing from my original purchase 4 years ago. I use my computer a lot and refer the keyboard vs tablet mode and it has served the purpose exceptionally well. I would recommend purchasing one with your Surface purchase.

I love this product! Super fast, great processing power, lots of tools, excellent multitasking.

Looks great and is easy to use. Keys response well to the touch. The keyboard is very light and thin.

This is an essential accessory for the surface. It transform it from being a tablet to a functional laptop.

Fantastic tactile keyboard. Doesn't feel "cheap" like it looks. The keys have good bounce, just enough "click" to them, and are spaced very well apart. The magnetic attachment is great too. The keyboard is extremely pricey though, however, if you get the Surface on sale, you can just consider the keyboard as built in. Would've almost been easier to swallow if the Surface came with the keyboard and the price of the tablet was more.

I was in the market for the red keyboard. The blue one is just fine. I had a color preference I guess. Bought the keyboard to do school work. There isn't a time when I'm not using the keyboard. It functions well, and it serves as a great screen protector when not using surface pro.

The keyboard is an essential when getting the Surface Pro. It handles great and keys are not overly small

This keyboard is great. Makes the Surface into a much more useful device. I use my surface for everything now and this keyboard is not only light to travel with, it's super functional and I wouldn't buy a surface without it. It also comes in some nice colors which is a huge plus.

These things wear out. Watcha gonna do? Use the screen touch display instead? I got this as replacement for one that just stopped working: it got laggy, sometimes didn't respond at all, and keys fell off with use (original Surface Pro 3 keyboard). This one seems to be lasting better.

I am so glad i bought this cover with the surface. it looks like a notebook, really and fits in my purse

The Surface Pro 4 detachable keyboard does exactly what you'd expect. It has a good keyboard 'feel,' and thus far appears to be sturdy and easy to clean. If they had other colors at the time (only black was available), I would have gotten a different one just to jazz things up!

Love the versatility of this keyboard. I like that I don't always have to have it hook to my surface pro

I am pleased with my keyboard. Despite some of the reviews I like mine a lot....works very well with the Surface Pro 4 (SP4)....I can type just as easily on this as I can on my full size PC keyboard in my office...and I like the backlight feature very much....and regardless of what some may think are limitations, this keyboard sure beats the heck out of using the on screen keyboard. I do agree with the majority of commenters however, in that this item should be included with the SP4 rather than having to purchase it separately.

I bought this item with my laptop and I love it. I bought it in blue but I wish they had one in pink.

This keyboard cover fits perfectly, and works great. I appreciate the built in mouse pad.

I thought about buying a cheaper Bluetooth keyboard and using that instead of this, to save some money. But that means I would have to connect it to my surface pro 4 every time and it would get annoying. So having the click on and click off keyboard is really helpful.

As type covers go, this takes the cake for button feel with its new improvements. However, if you want to actually type on your lap, there is no substitute for a hard hinge keypad.
