    My daughter had wanted a Surface Pro as a graduation gift. We waited for the Surface Pro 4 and purchased this keyboard to make typing easier. She loves this and uses it constantly. The only issue that we have had with the keyboard is that it, as well as the Surface Pro itself, are not very robust. My daughter takes very good care of both and yet has had to replace both the Surface and keyboard within weeks of each other. She also had to replace the charger as it failed a few weeks later. The units are only 18 months old so these failures are very concerning for long term viability of the products.

    The type cover is a must buy if you want to use the surface as a full laptop. The keyboard is easy to use and and very comfortable while typing on a table or your lap.
