Microsoft Surface pen has been pretty good since the beginning, I had a Pro 3 and the pen was excellent then. Precision and great responsiveness. The ability to be able to store in and charge it in the keyboard is a very nice change from the old version that had to be put in a loop hanging off the keyboard.

I like it. i just wish it was included with the Premium Surface Studio Laptop. At an extra 159 dollars and beng a must have to get the full use out of the Surface Studio its kind of like being extorted. Like I said though, other than the price it is a nice must have piece of tech.

I don't use the pen that often, but when I do it feels good in the hand and is responsive on the tablet. It stores and wirelessly charges in the new signature keyboard in a clever way. Much better than the older pen that magnetically attaches to the side of the Surface and requires a battery replacement.

Happiness is so convenient even though a separate mouse, or even the built-in keyboard works great. Sometimes I use it for my work also as a pointer for hybrid that I perform so it works wonderfully.

I purchased this as a replacement for the original that came with my Surface Studio laptop. It worked perfectly. Easy to use and pair.

Compared to the Apple Pencil + iPad Pro combo, this has more buttons (and therefore more flexibility) in features. Where I think this lacks is in the pen tracking and the sensitivity of the Surface Pen. It often feels like I'm just not quite writing as precise. If you are an artist I would steer you away from the Surface side; however, if you write often and need a shortcut or two handy (pun intended!), the Surface Pro + Slim Pen combo is a better investment for you

Works with my Surface Pro perfectly. Smooth operation.

The clicker on the end of the pen that performs an action - in my case changes slides in powerpoint presentations - has broken on two of these. One immediately following the end of my warranty and the other within months. I have tried third party types that havent had the same functionality, so I keep spending money on these. For $100+ they are pricey to keep replacing. I gave some stars because there is still the writing function that works well.

Pricey and takes a moment to wake up to be used. Also need to buy a charger seperately unless you have a pen cover or signature keyboard.

Definitely a plus using this compared to others I use, buttons on side easily reached and the sl design definitely works with my carpel tunnel , no more pain using this item

Absolutley love the pen. Chargong with the keyboard is great. Dont like that without the signature keyboard you qould have to purchase charger seperate. But writes like actual pen. Feels good in the hand.

Decent price and had blowing won't with it just wish Microsoft would have included a charger but that's not best buys fault and yet they still made it cheap enough to justify buying both the charger and pen

This pen has been so useful for my college work and comic book writing!!

It's a nifty little pen but the reason I refuse to give 5 stars and debated giving it 3 is they don't sell it with a charger but had mild issues to get the charger from tablet to charge it so had to go pick 1 up for convenience

This pen/stylus is great. I really like what Microsoft has done with the Type Cover keyboard to make it a holder and charger for the Surface Pen. The pen is great to use also.

If you are buying a surface, do not stop yourself from buying this pen as it works well and is highly compatible

Not a bad pen. Dont buy it if you dont know if you will use it. You probably wont. I dont. Thats on me though. Pretty much for drawing or notes. Otherwise you may not find a use. You wont use it for anything else. Mine just sits in the keyboard continuously charging
