    Version 2 of the MS Surface Slim Pen continues to be a great tool and an excellent value. It sets itself up when you turn it on for the first time and is always handy to use when stored in the pen storage for the removeable keyboard.

    Very comfortable to use and the responsiveness is amazing. Don't like the fact that you need to do a separate purchase (pen cradle, pen cover or type cover) to have the ability to charge the pen.

    Pen worked great until it didn't. Now it is a brick after 2 years and I need to buy a new one. Maybe it was my fault for not charging for a few months but expected this to be a little better for a $120 pen.

    Did not come with a charger and requires a special case for charging which was not mentioned when purchased. As a first time surface user that is important to know. Works well so far now that I have a charger.

    The ONLY issue with this is how powerful the magnet is - it gets stuck to ANYTHING. I thought I lost it and it was stuck under my keyboard. Who knows for how long.

    Interestingly, the weird shape (it's thin!) doesn't bother me at all. Using this with the Surface Studio Laptop gives a near-Wacom like experience.
