So, I thought I could buy this and use it with a Surface Pro 11, but it turns out that really isn’t an option, unless you buy the keyboard cover or a charger for the pen. You literally cannot attach it to the surface and charge it. This is like selling you a camaro in a country that has no gasoline! Why would they do this? Had I have know this I probably would have looked at other options, so do yourself a favor and skip this if you dont want the keyboard cover.

The pen worked great just didn't love the Microsoft Surface ecosystem.

Doesn’t have a charge port. NEED a seperate magnetic charge. Don't purchase for anything other than MS Surface.

Does not work and it's brand new. It won't respond, it's like a piece of plastic with nothing else. I press all the buttons and nothing happens. It's dead upon arrival to my house.

I would write a review of the pen but I can not use it. I bought a bundle that came with a pen and a keyboard but was not aware I needed a charger for the pen. Now I get to spend more money for a charger for this pen so that I can decide if it is worth it. since the pen had to be ordered and I received it today I am still without a pen until I get the charger for it or the correct keyboard for my surface pro. I am pretty disappointed.

I've used all versions of surface pens and clearly this one is perfect for what I need. I was skeptical about the shape of the first slim pen but was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it is in the hand. The ability to charge when magnetically attached to either both Surface Laptop Studio or the latest type covers is just another reason to love this. Like all things surface, you will pay premium price point. Look for deals. That's why I bought this one at Best Buy when I did.

This was a pretty good purchase for when I forget to bring my Microsoft mouse. Overall a good purchase.

This review is for the Surface Slim Pen 2. I have had the pen for about a month. I was able to get an open-box for $50. This is definitely a deal. I don't draw a whole lot, but I've used it for brief sketching and it is really good. The pen was easy to connect to my Surface Laptop and it offers a smooth writing experience. I would recommend for anyone wanting to enhance their drawing experience.

Went into store and was sold surface laptop 7. I was encouraged to purchase a new pen and assured it was compatible by the store rep and his manager. Only to come home and find out it needed a charger that wasn't mentioned by the sales associates AND per microsoft, the pen is not compatible, conflicting with information on the bestbuy website.

This $135 pen works exactly the same as the other $24 pens I've purchased. Unbelievably over-priced.

Works as advertised. Rattles a little. They all do. Design flaw. Not as responsive as an iPad but it does the job

Didn’t work. Make sure you test it immediately because if the original batter power dies it cannot be used.

I bought it for a non-Surface laptop, and I just found that it can't be charged without a dedicated, separately sold $35 charger, which is not mentioned anywhere in product description. Bravo, Microsoft.

Does not have its own charging if you don't have the correct laptop or case. Especially for the price, it should include it. The build quality is also a bit rocky on the movable parts.

pretty skinny, doesn't feel very durable. Reconsidering an Apple product instead.

Not very well pleased as the pen didn’t come with a charger. Not the easiest to setup and the convenience of having to charge separately is not the most appealing.
