The 7 keyboard and device won't charge it; the 9 and 10 keyboard does. The magnetic grip on the 7 for storage is not great; might be better with bigger tablet like 9 or 10.

I like the tip better than the original slim pen but still feels ever so slightly less precise than the old surface pen with the interchangeable tips
