It is the perfect complement and protects the Surface. Make your work a lot easier.

First Keyboard I had purchased had a small pin point tear in the bottom left had corner. I returned it to best buy and got a replacement. With that in mind the corners feel a little flimsy and may eventually rip or tear if constantly touched or pulled. Aside from this issue my only complaint is the touch pad which is a pain to use but I find all touch pads annoying and prefer to use a mouse anyways. The touch and feel of the keys are good and the backlit keyboard is a great feature.

I just love my keyboard it is so easy to use and the color is just my fave.

My initial impressions of the Microsoft keyboards for the first Surface were very bad. The keyboard had no feedback, and typing was not natural on it. I decided to trade my Macbook Air for a SP3, due to using VS for development frequently, and have been very impressed and satisfied with this keyboard. It actually is as responsive and the feedback feels as good as the Macbook Keyboard to me.

Very good keyboard once you grow used to it and develop the required touch needed.

This is what you need to enable your tablet as a full laptop but half the weight.
