While the type cover is built for use with the surface, and protects the screen while transporting it is difficult for me to type on. The keys are not raised at all. If this is not important to you, you would be happy with it.

The final piece of the puzzle. Keyboard for working on Office apps while traveling, docking station for working at home, and touch screen for maximum flexibility. How to beat that?

The keyboard seems a little cheap and I don't think works as well as others in the industry. I do like that you don't have to charge the keyboard and it runs off the Surface for the power source though. Needs improvement.

I purchased the keyboard not thinking that I really needed. .. but after a while I was so happy I purchased it. .. you can use the key board with low light bc the keys light up

This keyboard size is perfect for our daughter. She has an aversion to typing. Thanks to color choices, keyboard size, and 1/4" keys, she has no problem typing up her homework.

Unlike most other type cover for tablets, this one has backlit feature. Sleek and fits comfortablly on the tablet. Lighter as well

Functions great and lights up real nicely, however, it can get dirty very easily, and it's not easy to clean. i would've picked a darker color. Very light and easy to type on.

They type keyboard took a bit to get use to but once I did it worked great the track pad is much improved. If I get heavy handed when typing the keyboard can feel a bit bouncy.

This a great add on but it should come with it. I don't know why would you not get it. The price is a little high for a keyboard but if you get the surface you have to get it.

Easy to set up, comes with a pen loop which I stuch to the back side of the surface by the volume buttons instead of to the bottom of the keyboard bc it sticks better there.

This is a must if you are going to use the Surface Pro in PC mode because the on screen keyboard takes up almost half the screen. Bad when you are working with MSOffice!

Adding an additional $100 + on top to the $1,000 + I pad for the tablet is silly. It should be included with the product. I mean it's what you advertise! It's a great product, but I shouldn't have to pay more for it.

When I bought this keyboard I was told it would work with the surfacepro 2 and it does however it is bigger than the surfacepro2 and it makes it difficult to fit in to bags where the tablet fits the keyboard does not

Does what its supposed to. Seems pretty durable. I use it daily and am not easy on it at all. The 3 is for work and I am outside and carrying/travelling often with it

The product works fine, nice that it detaches. However sometimes the Surface Pro 3 doesn't recognize that it is connected or that it is disconnected, but that's rare.

It had done a good job protecting the screen so far. I do not care for the thin edge while using it on my lap. Seems to dig into the wrist. Price is high but not much available in stores to try out before buying.

Worked great for me with my Surface Pro 3. I have smaller hands, though. Friends with bigger hands tell me that this feels small for them.

The price is a little expensive, but otherwise it is a must have addition to your Surface Pro 3. Convenient, thin, responsive, and has a dual purpose as a screen cover for your tablet's screen when not in use.

I got this and it's a good keyboard like it's lightweight and it has a furry type bottom so it doesn't get scratched the only thing I was disappointed in is It doesn't light up so you can't see it in the dark

Types amazing. Don't have to press hard. Don't leave attached to the tablet overnight thorough. Freaks out when you turn it back on. Other than that no problems
