I strongly recommend this product to go with the surface pro 3. It stinks its a separate purchase but honestly for the cost its not that bad. Microsoft could have made this a lot more expensive. I only gave this product a 4/5 because it was extra. The really nice thing is the keyboard is backlit and the keys are easy to type with. Took about a week to get used to like wih any new keyboard but well worth the price.

I purchased the Surface Pro 3 I5 processor 250mb memory with extra memory. This is the easiest tablet/computer I've ever worked on. From the minute I opened the box this had to be the easiest computer to navigate and operate. I would take this any day over an IPAD.

The keyboard has worked really well for me. I love the backlit keyboard, and the feel is very good. The stand works very well in most situations. The only place it doesn't work perfectly is on your lap. It's a little bit of a balancing act to get it to work on your lap, but it is possible. All in all it's a must have if you own a Surface.

I originally bought a 2 in 1 because I was worried about using this keyboard a lot of Office programs. The keyboard is really great and the keys are easy to use and work well. The touchpad is not as hard to use as I read in some other reviews but I would recommend using a wireless mouse (I do) if you are doing a lot of laptop work.

Keys provide good tactile feedback. Backlight is a nice feature in low light conditions. Trackpad is bigger, tracks better and has click feedback over previous versions. The felt side of the keyboard seems to get dirty easily, but cleans with damp cloth. When keyboard is attached to SP3 and used in the elevated position, it makes it difficult to touch the lower part of the screen to access settings/programs.

We own three Surface Pro 3's. Started out with a keyboard on one of them. Then put a keyboard on the second one. I have always used the screen keyboard myself, but I must admit, I will probably be putting a keyboard on the third one. I just have to decide whether to use the regular keyboard or the one that comes with a battery.

I am very happy with this keyboard. It works great with the Surface Pro 3 and is available in several colors. The keys and the mouse pad are very responsive. The keyboard is easily detachable. It also serves as a cover to protect the screen when travelling. Great product. A bit pricey for a keyboard, but I have not been disappointed.

I would totally recomend getting this type cover for the surface 3 pro, the keys are super soft and you can really feel the difference because this is a mechanical keyboard. Every key has a light behind, so you don't miss a key in low light, and the magnets are really strong, it snaps in the right place every time and stays there.

I truly enjoy using this keyboard with my Surface. The product is fantastic. I personally like the keyboard feel better from my logitec keyboard for my iPAD but my son disagrees completely. So, it is really a personal issue as to the feel for the keyboard that you prefer. It works consistently. I do like it a lot. The best part in comparison to the iPAD keyboard is that the tab is where it belongs. BRAVO!

While I'm not a touch typist by any means, the MS Pro Type Cover has a better feel than other manufacturers - a more solid back that doesn't bend & twist as much as others I've tested. Definitely appreciate the backlit keys for working in low lighting. BIggest challenge is deciding where to attach the little stylus sleeve as it comes detached with an adhesive tab. The stylus sleeve is very snug initially.

For its lightness and price the keyboard feel is at 75%. Not in the same league y some laptop keyboards, but better than most other portable keyboards and actually better than quite a few laptop keyboards. The touchpad on the other hand has its glitches and although greatly improved over the 2 previous Surface Pro tablet touch pads this tour still needs hardware tweaking and or software/firmware updates.

This detachable cover quickly latches to the proper ports through a magnetic connection. It is easily removable when you don't need it. Very smart engineering by Microsoft regarding this attachable and optional cover/keyboard. I highly recommend you spring for the extra bucks to get one of these babies. Well worth the purchase.

I really like the keyboard, however, it has taken a while to get used to typing on it. To do any real serious typing, I have to keep it flat. I'm still trying to figure out how it functions in some the apps, like Excel. The normal way of hitting F2 to modify a cell, doesn't work by just hitting the F2 key. I do like the ability to add/remove the keyboard from the SPro3 and it doesn't need charging.

The SP3 keyboard is excellent, the original SP keyboard was good, the second for the SP2 was horrible. Seems they go this one right !!! For all those worried the pen holder will come off I can confirm despite it only being stuck to the case it seems to hold on well and I'm removing in and out of my laptop bag on a daily basis.
