I own the surface Rt and bought two third party keyboards bought of which were ok but both were unreliable at times so I've upgraded to the pro 3 & decided to shell out the extra money for the keyboard. So far I have no complaints the keyboard works flawlessly

Love that you can choose your keyboard color. It's pretty pricey though. Works great, love that it can detach and easily attach to surface pro. Wished that it had some of the same concept of regular keyboards such as dimming the screen light with the keys.

It makes my surface pro 3 experience really great! I can use it like a tablet or computer. It's a very smart little piece of technology. When I fold it behind my surface pro 3 to use it like a tablet, it doesn't type, which is great. It is very intuitive.

I bought this for my wife, because she was tired of carrying her laptop back and forth to school. She loves it. She finds it easy to access all the school websites and use it as an e-reader. She has given up her tablet and just about stopped using her laptop.

The keyboard works seamlessly with my surface pro 3. Easy to snap and easy to take off. Also protects the screen why cover is closed. A little bit pricey though.

Good product,* it protects but a little expensive.

Very happy with this keyboard. Robust, not flimsy. Can be angled to make typing easier. Flips around my tablet with no issues. Attaches / removes using magnets. Only complaint would be the left click / right click is a little loud when in quiet meetings.

It is very easy to snap this keyboard into the tablet and get a tight connection. The same with the charging cable. The size of the keyboard and individual keys are almost an exact overlay of my 15.5 inch ThinkPad. I haven't used the touch pad that much, when did I never had a problem. It does not have a print screen key (prtsc), but you can get the same affect by pressing simultaneously the windows key, function key, and space key. When I type on my laptop I hit the keys pretty hard. I did the same with this keyboard at first and it did not seem that good. But if I type more lightly on this keyboard it seems like a lot better keyboard. On some keyboards when a key is depressed part way down you have to look at the screen to make sure the keystroke registered. But not this keyboard, when a key is depressed there is a distinct tactile feel that lets you know the keystroke registered.

Purchased with a Surface Pro 3. It should be included in a bundle rather than having to buy it separately. Works well. Good tactile feedback. Good size. I like the magnetic attachment to the Surface Pro 3. The finish on the cover is attractive and provides a good gripping surface, but it collects dirt and finger smudges.

I love the Type Cover for the SP3 because it's light weight, backlit keyboard is very convenient when it's dark and it's snap on feature make it very accessible.

The Keyboard is pretty essential in my opinion, especially if the surface will become your primary work station, some things like the Microsoft Office just work better the old fashioned way. I found the size rather comfortable considering the surface 1 and 2 was smaller.The mouse pad is nothing special, but the fact that the previous one was also small because the surface itself was small, you notice you have more room to maneuver with your finger. The material is made out of that soft "velvety" material which might get a bit discolored or faded looking, once you start getting use out of it. The price is pretty steep, but considering you are already forking over a sizable amount of money for the surface itself, I would say that this should just be counted as part of the overall price to get the complete experience needed with your surface. Something are just better with a keyboard.

It's light-weighted, colorful, and also can be used as a cover, What more could you ask for. Would be better if the price drops a little. But overall satisfied.

Super bright and fun. Not a big fan of the sticker loop that is used to hold the stylus. It has not fallen off yet but I plan on MacGyver'ing a better holder for the $50 stylus. Getting used to the smaller keyboard was easy. LOVE the backlight in the keys

This product completed the surface pro 3. Before it felt awkward to me when I had been using other products, by adding the keyboard I was able to manuever the desktop with ease. I wish it would have been recommended when I received the surface pro 3.

Nice keyboard, backlit, good key feel, decent color. I would have given this 5 stars if it actually had a battery to increase run time, but they can't do it all at once or they would not be able to charge us again for the same product with a battery, like the power keyboard for the previous versions of the surface.

This keyboard for my Surface 3 was self-explanatory and just clicks onto the table and works perfectly every time. Much easier than typing on the screen with a finger. Highly recommend this keyboard! Bonus, it serves as a perfect protective cover.

great keyboard! but if you're planning on doing data entry or planning on using the mouse pad....think again. You'll most likely need a usb mouse and trying to type on your lap is not even an option because of how the keyboard connects to the Surface. Other than that, it's easy to type on and functional overall.

The keyboard has a nice, clean, positive feel to it. Keys are properly spaced, and typing is very easy and comfortable. Back lighting is a nice feature. PS - I got the purple version (blue, and black, also available) and it looks very nice with the screen.

This is a pretty good keyboard considering how thin it is. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to have back lit keys on it as well. Touch pad works fairly well but is a little small. I really don't use the touch pad all that much anyway. Over all it is a good product and does its job well.

Great keyboard with a great feel to it. Having actual buttons is a huge upgrade over the on screen keyboard. Trackpad works as expected. Probably won't protect the Surface Pro 3 all that much, but that is not what I bought it for. Great product.
