I love this keyboard. I like that it is very light and thin so that way when I attach it to my Surface Pro 3 it does not add too much weight. Also I like how i can use the keyboard when its laid flat, but it also raises a little when it attaches with a magnet.

This Type Cover was recommended by a teacher and its exactly what we needed. Its lightweight and easy to assemble quickly in class. The keys are just the right size.

I'm used to typing almost everything in Windows; we couldn't function well without the keyboard attachment. If you've gotten the screen keyboard functionality down, you may not need this, but there's something about a "real" keyboard that seems easier to use.

In addition to being a backlit natural feeling keyboard this is akin to a protective screen cover. The one difference between Android and Microsoft Windows 8.1 virtual keyboard that necessitates this item is the software covers the fields of data you want to fill. Not to get too technical, hopefully if I say when you open the v-keyboard in android it "pushes" the screen up so you sacrifice screen size but 8.1 overlays the v-keyboard. The pro-3 is a great device and the keyboard is crucial for full productivity. Oh, and if, like me, you use the stylus this has the loop / holder to keep it handy.

I like the way it snaps right on to the surface pro.

Snaps on easy and it's easy to use, just need to get used to the keys as they are spaced closer together than regular keyboards. I find myself hitting the caps lock button when trying to type an "a" more often than not. Other than that, very low key and not bulky, so helps to keep carrying my Surface around very mobile.

This is a very good keyboard. Love that it is back lit. Don't love the fact that had to purchase seperatly for Surface. Microsoft should have just charged more for the Surface and included it. It is very necessary to transform the "tablet" into a "laptop".

For what I paid for the Surface Pro, you would think that it should have a bundle option for the keyboard. However, Microsoft choose not to do it that way, and decided to charge more for it. Other than the price, it looks good and I like the design. It functions well, and it was smart to include a mouse pad as well.

Perfect accessory for the surface pro 3. It is light, comfortable and works well. Light-up keyboard is nice as well.

A must have for the surface tablet. It's sleek and easy to type with. Drawback it that you have to store the pen on it. U should be able to put the pen inside the device somehow. Great keyboard and touchpad

I bought this cover/keyboard for my Surface Pro 3. It works the same as a full size keyboard. When the cover is attached for the Surface Pro 3 the computer works the same as a regular laptop. The magnets on the cover attach securely to the Surface Pro 3.
