Great cover. It's sleek and has a good feel to it. Keeps the SP3 slim, but protected. Love being able to flip it at an angle to type on the keyboard. Keys are firm enough to give good haptic feedback. Love this and my SP3 together. Was a great buy!

This keyboard works exactly as described for the Surface. I find it much easier trying to type with a normal keyboard rather than using the on-screen keyboards that come up by default, especially for longer writings. Even though it was open-box I have had no issues. The only things I can say differently is that the item I received is the newer keyboard rather than the Surface 3 specific one and the main difference is that the keyboard is slightly wider than the Surface itself as its built for larger models. Only an issue if you have a smaller case.

Red is one of my favorite colors, and I just love the fact that the Surface Pro 3 typecover is the mix of all the goods of the past type covers. It's backlit, the trackpad is a smooth surface, and the keys, are so smooth. Easy to type on as well!

Attaches by magnetic. Very easy to remove as well. I bought this for a Christmas as well. My son loves his new surface pro 3. He can't get enough of using the keyboard for a laptop, or taking it off to use as a tablet. The best combination you can get.

The magnetic keyboad is very nice and connect to the surface pro 3 with ease. The $130 price tag is a little steep as it should be included as a package with the Surface. You need to have it anyway...

After over 35 years using a computer, I finally have a keyboard in a cool color! And at no extra charge! Good size keys--great for someone whose fingers aren't quite as nimble as they used to be! Matches the wireless mouse color I chose to boot.

Keyboard to a great addition to Surface 3 tablet. Device performs like a laptop and extremely easy to remove when not needed. Also like the back lit keys.

My wife loves this keyboard for her Surface Pro 3. I also like it as well. The backlit keys are great and it is very ergonomicly correct. Also the track pad puts the one on my Surface 2 to SHAME! It works wonderfully and is amazingly responsive!

My favorite feature is the multiple backlight levels, and trust me, different environments or scenarios make each level (including off) loved. Typing on the touch v3 keyboard is not like typing on a Lenovo Laptop but it is like typing on an above average regular keyboard and DEFINATELY better than typing on all other tablet keyboards I've ever used.. (and I have used from all vendors for all mobile OSs) especially because of the well placed touchpad (like you would find on regular notebooks) After a few weeks of use, I found myself swapping it away and under, way back as a stand or quickly detaching with ease. I will also switch seamlessly from typing, to pen, to touch (mostly for navigation).

This keyboard may be the best one I've ever typed on. Key strokes feel very natural, and you won't have to worry about having to type the same key multiple times because it's very responsive. The touchpad on this keyboard is as good as the one on my Mac Book Pro. The gestures work just as well too. There are hidden mouse buttons in the touch panel that I didn't know about and was frustrated with until I read the operator instructions. I've never used the previous Surface keyboards, so I don't have a basis of comparison, but I can say this keyboard is worth the money.

Provides protection and keyboard functionality for the Surface Pro 3. Attaches magnetically to device, hinge is robust. Fairly stylish with a clean look. Keyboard is small but not too small to use on a regular basis like some tablet keyboards.

I bought this for my Surface 3 and have been using it since. The most cool feature is that the back light goes off automatically when not in use there by reducing the battery consumption. I have been using for a while now without any problems.

The keyboard, while not quite as good as a stand alone Apple keyboard, is great and better than the native keyboard on my Macbook. I love that is functions as a cover and easily pops on and off.

There are 2 types of keyboards to choose from when purchasing your Surface. Dont waist your time with the other one. Sure its a bit thinner but the way this one "feels" make the other one just not worth it. Its built just like the keys boards that you are use to typing on, just like a normal laptop one but still manages to be so thin that it it just looks like a tablet cover.

This has a great key response and a better feeling than I would have thought, especially when it's ergonomically propped up and not just flat. The backlight is great and when you don't need this just flip it backwards and it stays deactivated!

This is really nice. It reminds me of the iPad as far as the way in seamlessly and magnetically fits to my surface Pro. The only issues is I wish there were more colors available. I really didn’t want purple but didn’t have much of a choice. My wife loves pink and I would rather have purchased a pink keyboard. But the feel of the keyboard is great and very comfortable. I like the response of the keys. Overall this keyboard feels and looks great!

I went in to best buy in search of a few new games, i was just browsing the laptops and tablets when I noticed there was an open box surface pro 3 keyboard, my husband had just ordered the surface pro 3, so it saved me a lot of money.

Overall, I really like the Surface Pro. My only downfall is the type cover being limited to only a fabric cover. The keyboard works great, but would have been more portable with a hard cover or leather option. Still, its worth the money.

I like the keyboard for the Surface Pro 3 and overall gave it a 5 star rating; however, I have a few issues with it, the biggest being the price. The other is I am worried that I will break this soon as I tend to be a heavy/hard typer.

This is not my first surface Pro and I really like it a lot. I have used these in the past and the latest Pro 3 is a great computer. It's better than any laptop and performs very well and it's very fast. It's light and easy-to-use and it's just like having a microthin laptop that performs like a desktop. The only complaint is only having 1 USB port which is used for a wireless mouse and I have to remove it to use a flash drive. But I am using Onedrive more and more maybe won't need my flash drive much longer. Price is a bit on the high side too.
