Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased Windy10 to save a laptop. Wouldn’t install. Minimum system requirements were met. Operating system kept shutting off computer. Call help desk and they kept referring me to their website. How could I? A waste of money.

Its okay....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The program has a few issues which makes me wish for Windows 7 again (like having a FREE copy of word, etc.) but there are some things I do like (like the games that are offered, etc.)….so it's pretty much a give-&-take.

Buy Windows 7
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Windows 10 has some good features. Improvement on 8, but I should have brought 7. Wants to install 32 bit on 64 bit hard drive. If you buy this, spend the money to have professionals install.

disgruntal user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a Windows novice having used it since 3.1. Some have been OK, others not so much. Windows 10 is a nightmare. Full of glitches. Most annoying is that it shuts down the internet connection at will. Then, after installing a number of programs, all controlled by one main program it managed to lose it all. Will they ever learn how to make the customers happy and put out a good product? Obviously they just want the money. I know several people who are having the same problems and are having their computers wiped and Windows 7 installed.

THE WORST
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a portable computer with Windows 8. I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 and Office. The sales person at Best Buy advice me to buy 2 packages one Windows 365 and one Window 10. When got home Open the windows 10 box and it has a memory stick. I plug it in and follow the instructions and did not load the program. Did it 3 times and nothing. Ask my son who is a computer programmer and he told me that something with the memory stick was wrong. Now the package is open and no refund!!!!

What a headache!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really do not know where to start. Windows 10 sucks. There are too many changes that I have been making to the OS to make it a functional work station so that it is not irritating. Seriously, annoying notifications at start up before even signing in. The changes to hardware is not acceptable. The invasiveness is certainly disturbing on so many levels. Yes, MS is like a disease on your hard drive. This is most likely the last MS operating system I buy/install. I may update this at a later time.

Not Happy With This Product
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product in conjunction with another product to run the Windows platform on my MacBook. It messed up my brand new MacBook Pro and it had to be sent in to be reformatted by the Geek Squad, and even then fragments of the two products lingered in my hard drive. I ultimately had to take my MacBook to the Apple store to have them clean it up and get rid of all traces of these products. I would steer clear!!

Bad
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Widows 10 is a disaster. It slows down my computer tremendously. I have to wait a long long time to use my computer now. It is horrible. No one in the Geek Squad mentioning this to us when we tried to upgrade, by window recommendations. It should suggest to add more rum to speed up. Also other Best Buy will install it for free. We had to paid for it. Bad, bad bad overall !!!

I prefer a different OS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a perfect set up with 2 monitors and my network card worked and everything. When I switched to windows 10, my internet did not work and I had no second monitor set up. When I switched back to a previous OS, everything worked again. I think it was a waste of 120 bucks on the specific computer I had.

Posted .Hi Eric,
Thanks for sharing your review. When you upgrade OS sometimes you will need to also update your drivers, Windows 10 generally tries to update your drivers, but in this case it sounds like you would need to hard wire in to have access to the internet. If you decide to try it again we recommend that you start the process with a hard wired internet connection.
Best,
Nelson

This listing is for the USB version of Windows 10 so customers purchasing it won't need to worry about having a CD Rom Drive. All they need is a USB port. We're glad you were able to get it installed and running in the end.

great if you just need the key
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The thumb drive while trying to install 64 bit just kept giving me an error and wouldn't work. I had to make a bootable windows 10 dvd and just use the activation code from this product. It's a known problem and they have updated the newer ones supposedly. I must have just got an older one and a simple install took hours longer than it should have.

We needed to upgrade to 10, however
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. However after buying it, we realized that our computers that were Microsoft 7, probably would not have been able to use this software. Since it was expensive (I think around $140), we just decided to buy new computers since they were old anyway. And we were able to return the software since it was never opened.
