Worked Great Upgrading from Vista

I had read from other internet reviews that the upgrade may not work, but decided to attempt it anyway. I'm glad I did because all my programs transferred over and it runs much better. Very satisfied, just wish it was cheaper.

USB based installation

Windows 10 Home OS is stored on a USB drive. To install from USB be sure you understand how to boot your system for USB based installation. The installation was much faster than installing from Disk.

I wanted to try to reinstall my Windows 8, the representive from Geeksquad advised me of all my options and the benefits of an Windows 10 operating system. They took great care of me and my computer works better now than the day I first purchase it!

I love this version of Windows!

It lets me do everything I want to just by opening a search and searching for what I want to do. Add to it that I can create my own screen layouts, work locally or while traveling and print to my home printer from anywhere, and Yeah, I'm loving it!

However, with the ability to be used on touch devices as well as desktop computers, Windows 10 is a step above its predecessors. A simple, intuitive design and layout makes Windows 10 user friendly for the non-geek in your life.

Windows 10 Upgrade

Did a clean install, along with an upgrade to 500 Gig SSD and new memory. Laptop now runs like new, with a short boot time and no lag. With Microsoft withdrawing support for Windows 7 in the near future, it made sense to go ahead and start fresh. Glad I did.

Purchasing directly from BestBuy guarantees it is a genuine product, which was a concern initially.

Transferrable to next motherboard too. Can't go wrong since Microsoft says this is the last operating system they will make. Windows 10 will be updates from here on out.

Decent software even for a mac user

I only own Macs so i was limited on options. I debated between this and a laptop but wanted to save on the money. The software was easy enough to install and has worked like a charm for what i need. No hiccups yet...

Too Smooth

I was dreading a long drawn out process with the possibility of failure but got none of it. Everything loaded up without a hitch on an older Dell and everything worked. I haven't found any problems yet and It's been three weeks. Don't know what I did to deserve this, but I'm digging it!
