I'm in the process of upgrading an old computer. I'm basically teaching myself how to build my own gaming PC. Step 1: start with a clean slate. Step 2: under pants. Step 3: PROFIT!!

I’ve had Windows 7 for as long as it’s been around and it was by favorite by far, but Windows 10 has been great. I’ve not had any problems with it. I do miss Windows 7, but I believe I’ll be just as happy with Windows 10.

I was hesitant because I had seen others set it up in a way that it did not seem user friendly. It is and I love the upgrade.

Figures right! Software installed easily. Another $130 dollar donation to Microsoft...

If I did not need it for work I would totally just use another operating system which can cost $0. I mean is does have some benefits as far as user friendliness but if you know how to type a command into the terminal there are few gains from spending the $100 or more dollars. All in all it is decent but just overpriced. It is half the cost of a new computer that has windows 10 installed. It would not be bad if it were max $50 and that is still a little high. Most people don't use the full function of the OS. What they should do is make it so that the basic OS is like $30 and then all the upgraded or extra features/ programs are an extra fee.

I used a Mac for years but had to revert back to Windows for hardware support. I’m not really regretting it.

I use d this with Parallels Desktop, to fun Windows 10 on my Mac. Works great!

Nonetheless the new copy of windows worked flawlessly and effortlessly. Just plugged it in and the program took care of the rest.

However, the installation and upgrading went without a problem, and went quite fast. There were also no problems in activating the product.

My previous windows builds came with a CD disk. Fast installation. No problems. Takes a while to get it fully updated. But everything went smoothly.

My crappy Dell hard drive crapped out, was able to boot this via USB, with encapsulated hdd!....why wasnt my o.s. stored in flash? Great question dell!

Since no more updates will be provided to Windows 7, our choice of Windows 10 proves excellent.
