Just start typing and instantly "search-engine-like" suggestions appear. There are less tiles pinned to the Start menu, making it look more professional. And the Third Party Tiles, ads, can be unpinned in groups with a single click. The search for Downloads is simplified. Now the default behavior is to have the most recent download at the very top of the list in the downloads folder. There's lots more for me to delve into and explore. Look forward to finding more positive improvements.

It's still difficult to get shortcuts on my desktop but with a little searching I found a technique that works well and consistently. Just beware on PC/Tablet combos. Some applications still end up with very tiny menu displays although the user areas are fine. I'm calling Geek Squad to see if there is a way to fix this.
