Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation stalled during the first step "checking for updates" as the progress never went past "0%" but displayed "would take awhile". Waited for 2.5 hours and then started searching the internet for a solution. It turned out a couple of files required deletion from a previous Windows 7 OS and after deleting, the update progressed. Seems like Microsoft would warn you about this or the software would delete these files since this OS has been out long enough for Microsoft to be aware of this issue during installation and have a resolution in the installation paperwork (at least) if not on the USB installation drive. After that, the installation progressed without issue. It is unfortunate the free upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 that expired on Jan. 14, 2020 was not performed on this desktop as this Windows 10 Home upgrade was expensive at $138.00. My overall rating of 3 is due to the price of upgrade from a previous Windows product and the issues I had initially during installation.

Windows 10 installation

I installed software on a newly built PC desktop. The only resolution that is recommended is 1024 x 768. Not able to edit it because all options are grayed out. Still waiting for my WIFI card and optical drive. So at the present time update drivers or windows 10.

The king OS

I love windows, maybe because is the only Os I have really use. I have tried Mac and is a really overcomplicated with security and all that, besides the non existent idea of touch screen. (not including tablets and phones and I guess the super touch bar lol)
