What you are getting is a bare minimum software package. The price for this bare minimum software is the same price as you would get for the full version from Microsoft. One other point to make here, do not try to use the security key that comes in your box. It will put you in an endless go-a-round. Instead click at the bottom that you don't have a key. It will then load correctly.

They gave me the option with a technical warning. I appreciated the honesty, allowed them to download my data and recycle my old hardware. I definitely will be back to look at the all in ones.

My suggestion of you have another computer with an updated copy of windows 10 is to create a boot key using that and just use this for the windows key.

The USB form factor made a simple install on a new PC without a CD drive yet also provided the security of a physical copy of the OS and a working activation key . I can always trust BestBuy.

Setup took me a while but after being forced to create a password for my personal desktop I got setup & playing games in no time.

I'm not big-brained enough for Gentoo, and getting an "Activate Windows" message at the bottom of my screen at all times sounds like a drag, so this little USB drive with Windows 10 ready to install on it will have to do.

Cons: Windows 10 know everything your doing. No Privacy whatsoever. Forced to move away from windows 7 due to upgrading to 5900x and Asus Dark Hero x570

Now, because they have reached and agreement with Microsoft, they charge $149.79. Personally, I think it's a ripoff. However, the Geek Squad Representative advised I needed to install it in order to get my lap top operational.

I'm concerned about some of the features in the upcoming Windows 11 operating system so I purchased this as a backup OS in case I don't like the new OS due at year end.
