Very pricey, though necessary for any PC, so not much to say there. Obviously you can opt for a different OS, but Windows is great at what it does, wouldn't recommend going with something else. Price is pretty high, though it's similar to what you would find anywhere else. If I'm correct, the CD installation ranges from 20-50 dollars cheaper, so maybe look into that.

I recently installed Windows 10 on my computer which had Windows 7. It made so many things a lot easier. I didn’t want to upgrade at first because all the perks I had with my Windows 7 software I got from my company. But now things are a lot more smoother. Was able to allocate more space properly. And my wife live how everything is since with her Live account

I continue to use Linux for my daily work, but the Windows 10 system that I bought for my wife's computer has showed me that Microsoft's OS is nice system to run. I am even running my virtual machine of it more often on my Linux system... and enjoying it. I grudgingly recommend Windows 10... even though I prefer Linux for my needs.

I have an older laptop that needed an upgrade to its original hard drive, it had run out of space with updates from windows 7. So, I updated the hard drive and operating system to windows 10. Now Microsoft can continue keeping my laptop up to date ( windows 7 is no longer supported) and the new hard drive will not run out of space.

Decided to build a PC and use Windows 10 Home to have alongside my old MacBook Pro, and I'm EXTREMELY happy with how intuitive and customizable Windows is. I will probably upgrade to Pro in the future depending on business growth, but Home has everything that I need right now to run a self-employed business, do graphic design, and game/stream.

Have to love Microsoft! My son actually built his own computer. So he needed this product to be able to complete the process. The computer really works! We have had no problems so far. He uses the computer for gaming and school work, so he can easily use his computer now for both. Customer service was helpful with the purchase

I needed to reinstall windows after a failed cloning experiment. I took off a star for the software being so expensive. Also, since it's been years since I've installed windows, windows 10 uses a usb drive instead of a cd for installation, so keep the box it comes in so you won't lose it. I recommend this if you mess around with computers for a hobby and want to save an expensive trip to a repair shop.
