Installing Windows 11 on our laptop was easily accomplished.

I paid 156.99 with lisence. Plus it doesnt even work on my pc, called customer service they didnt answer, wrote in to the best buy chat, my assistant was very poor at doing her job, 0 assistance. And then cant even refund it.

I can't give a rating because apparently I need a thumb druve or the disc itself to install windows eleven home into my computer. Since my computer can only operate on safe mode with networking. So because of that, all i have is a product key and no way to return it since it was tpyed in my email from best buy

It's windows. You don't have many options for OSs that run as many programs as it does so....

Unable to use digital download refuting to refund money.

It was never installed. After I started to check why, I got a message on my old h/p laptop that Windows11 was not compatible. So I figure if it did not load in the h/p it would load in another laptop, but when I tried got a message it was already installed

Beware, do not buy this product unless you have already tried installing the software. My PC meets all the published requirements to allow install but the the installer won't proceed due to non-published requirements and Best Buy WILL NOT REFUND regardless of the circumstances or published requirements.

I got stuck with this because I bought through best buy and all had to do is downloaded it from Microsoft for FREE. Waste of money for sure.

I purchased a new desktop not knowing that it had Windows 11. It's too bad I can't get a refund.

You better be real sure you want a digital item before you buy it. If you realize immediately that you bought the wrong thing and request a return, Best Buy won’t let you. Even if you haven’t redeemed the item.

Make sure you double check that the motherboard you are buying doesn't already come pre installed with windows.

The down side of digital orders is you can't get a refund or exchange from Bestbuy. Talked to a Bestbuy assistant and told me this information.

I was supposed to buy a USB flash drive one but accidentally bought a digital. Now there is no way return.

Not a windows fan, but, really well done. A little less cluttered, still needs work.

took days to get the code in my gmail, worked but the delivery time was unacceptable

It's a license for windows 11 home. It works but in no way should this cost what windows sells it for. 147 dollars after taxes is insane. With that said, you get to keep the license going forward which is nice so new builds attached to your microsoft account will be licensed (you won't need a new one). Not having a license is technically piracy and the cheap ones found elsewhere aren't "official" but this should cost like 50 bucks.

In reading reviews I will be one of those curmudgeons. Microsoft really wants capture personal data. Don't like that! Frankly don't like needing Microsoft account. Hindsight-buy 10; get Linux; go apple. Friends have 10 day taskbar ad start menu easier to use. Need use one drive to auto save. BOO. have another cloud. Cortana-why waste space and cannot uninstall.
