Don't have an Xbox but got this controller to use with my Windows computer and the new 2020 Microsoft Flight Simulator. This controller makes easy work of handling the drone camera within the simulator. Was easy to set up and connects wirelessly with no issues. The Flight Sim also recognized it right off. Feels nice in your hand and conrols work well.

Love it for the red color, works just like any Xbox one controller.

So my pc's build concept was to have minimal cables and accessories connected to the case. As of right now I only have a power cable and display cables for my monitor attached because I've added a wifi/bluetooth dongle... which brings me to the XB1 controller. Previously I had a wireless receiver for the original XB1 controller, and before that a 360 one. The latest iteration of this controller has bluetooth built in, so I no longer need that receiver dongle attached to my comp... and the nice part is that, since I'm using Windows 10, the controller is automatically recognized by the computer when pairing it. Here are the list of this new gen of XB1 controller that I've noticed: -The build quality seems better, originally I had a first gen controller with a semi-faulty dpad, this issue wasn't there for the new controller that I bought. -There is now bluetooth functionality. You can also connect this to your pc via micro usb if you don't have a receiver. -The back of the controller is slightly textured. There are a bunch of little bumps giving it a little more resistance on your hands and providing better grip. Overall I'd rate this controller 5 stars because it looks good, has bluetooth, and updated build quality.

It does have place for a cord which is an extra purchase. Batteries run down quickly but you can get rechargeable ones. Will do when I remember to. Had to learn the new buttons from upgrading from regular xbox. This is a bit more complex. But all in all a decent remote. A liitle pricey though.
