However there are no good wired options as far as I know so if you want to make it weigh less and have less latency you can take out the batteries and use a usb cable to connect it to the xbox.

After a few months of use the buttons begin to "drift" and games become unplayable. Not fun paying $60 each time for a replacement. When the controller are new they work great. But that only lasts for about 100 hours of gaming.

Most of our two year old controllers lasted two years before developing problems from wear and tear. This one might be going back for a replacement.
